If you are looking for a place that is exquisite, calm, serene, and tranquil - then this is the one. The stay will soothe your core-it’s a place where you can forget the humdrum and cacophony of the world. It was green all-round in the rains, and the river flowed in front of the balcony –calm and majestic with core forest on the opposite bank, while a series of hills shrouded with clouds aplenty overlooked the splendid view.

Detailed Reviews
The property though not that easy to find was a fascinating place to be in. The ambiance and view of the national park where deer were grazing across the river made me feel in a different world.
The staff were very accommodating and even sent me the location on WhatsApp to find the place. Besides the rooms were very spacious and so were the vegetarian meals (a vegetarian estd). The food was delicious.
However the place can get boring after a night stay as literally other than the safari there is no other activity that could entice visitors to stay on.
The staff seemed a bit scared of the clients and that seemed to only only come out in body language in every interaction but also kind of made the interaction awkward. Smiling was a luxury to many there.
Please note that there is an additional cost of INR500/- if you wish your driver to eat a decent meal (b/l/d). They should mention this on the website as an additional service or as included in a package. I felt bad when I asked them about my drivers meals and they said if you want us to give him food it's an additional 500/- . Not a nice feeling. Plus what if I didn't ask the manager?
I would recommend a max 1 night stay.
O an carry cash as when I was there there was no credit card machines at the property.

I stayed at this place with my family. They have four rooms with basic amenities and can be a great place for small family gatherings or group gatherings as you can book all four rooms together and have your own personal holiday spot.
We booked two rooms so we got an entire personal space for our accommodation and a separate seating area for our family to enjoy our meals with a breathtaking view.
The view from the hotel is directly of the river overlooking the Satpura forest, very serene to sit and have your meals /tea along with that view without any disturbance. As the accommodation capacity is only of four rooms you get such a quality peaceful uninterrupted time with your loved ones.
Mr. Ingesh went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfectly comfortable and even ensured that all meals were prepared as per our palate and preference.
We also got a lot of help related to our safari and he personally took us to the venue and told us about all the formalities in advance.
The only thing is the actual photos of this place is not available online and one must not confuse this property with their Pachmarhi property which is class apart.
This property is more like a standalone house but with the amazing team they have on board you will have a experience equivalent to 5star standards.
Thanks to Mr.Ingesh and everyone on this team for making our stay so perfect , comfortable and enjoyable.

Hi,
This place is perfect for Family, group of friends, couples.
Pros: Incredibly beautiful view of Denwa River when it's full (esp in Monsoons), location very near to Bison Lodge wherein all the bookings are done.
Meals are very delicious (only veg), Staff is very cooperative, especially Property Manager Mr Hemant Sharma is very friendly and welcoming in nature, Rooms are very cozy, and comfortable. First floor rooms (Aakash more than Vayu) are obviously better than Ground floor rooms (Prithvi and Jal), in terms of space and view, and also private decks available in the former. One best thing about this property is that it is very peaceful, away from Bison Lodge crowd, very few rooms so less crowd in that way too, so for all people seeking for Serenity, must book this place.
Cons: Garden and front entrance is not well managed, no cemented walking trails at entrance or in garden, little high in price as compared to similar locations in other parts of India. That's it. Thanks.

Situated besides the serene Denwa backwaters, this hotel offers breathtaking panorama of the surrounding hills, forests and waterscape. The accommodation comprises a single villa with four rooms, two on each floor, which are tidy and comfortable. The food is both homely and hygienic, with the option for personalized dining experiences. The staff is attentive and hospitable, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests.
While the overall experience is tranquil and enjoyable, there is room for improvement in parking facilities and landscaping in the villa's backyard overlooking the backwaters.

The Satpura Panchtatva Villa is a calm and serene property located at a convenient distance from Madhai gate of Satpura Tiger Reserve. The balcony of 1st floor rooms offer an incredible view of the Denwa River. Manager Hemant provides all the necessary guidance and is extremely cooperative. Cook Radhe prepares delicious authentic North Indian food. I recommend that you try Moong dal bhajiyan with tea. Local boy Santosh and Manoharji are provide great room service. Overall the place is highly recommended for its warm hospitality, excellent location and peaceful stay.

During a recent visit with friends, I got a chance to stay in this property. The limited rooms provides a very personalised experience for you, especially if you are travelling with a bigger group. The staff is very courteous, polite, and give special attention to your needs. The rooms are as shown in the photographs and are equipped with all amenities. The view from the rooms and the dining space overlooking the river and the Satpura forest makes the stay worthwhile.

I visited Madhai with 4 friends and stayed at the upper floor rooms. The communication with the manager before travelling was smooth and he helped us plan and book our safaris. The property enjoys a wonderful view of the Denwa River and is well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and have all amenities. The staff is helpful and we enjoyed delicious meals and snacks with a great view of the river and the Satpura forest beyond.

Its a small property, four rooms. Great staff.. Mahohar, Santosh and their kitchen staff. They go out of their way to make your visit comfortable. But considering that the property, specially the two rooms on the first floor tend to get very hot, there is no mini-fridge provided. And the kitchen (which is a single story structure which gets pretty hot) has one single refrigerator. So it is just not possible to get any cold water if needed.
And that can be bad, after doing a 3-4 hours safari in the Satpura Tiger reserve in 42 degree heat. Secondly, even the dining area both on ground floor (which has no fan) and first floor (which though has AC needs atleast 30 minutes to cool) are not well cooled.
Lastly - in june, when the river is nearly completely dry, there is not much of a view from the rooms as you see in the pictures. So the best time to visit and stay at the property is probably during and after monsoons. And a mini fridge in the room would really make the stay more comfortable.

We were family of 6, booked 2 rooms for 2 days. Very polite staff who are locals and the property is maintained by a friendly, polite and smart Manager who is also a Naturalist and a local person. He is well aware of the area and the jungle. The property gives us a home feel stay, with a beautiful view of Denwa river. Must visit for a nature loving people. The drawback is that you don’t have anything more to explore apart from jungle safari (where tiger sightings are rare) and water safari (we did see the crocodiles though). We heard there was a hot water spring nearby which could be explored. Overall we had a wonderful and happy stay.
