We stayed at the Sai Radha Beach heritage and we were lucky to get a sea facing room. The room is very well lit and the bathroom too is big. Every room has a tap outside so that when you walk on the sandy beach and enter your room, you can wash your legs. The beach is just about 50 meters away from the beach. It is the best beach resort we have stayed and the place is comparable to any international destinations you would have seen. The Manager, Mr.Abishek, is very welcoming and professional, he can provide with information of the nearby places and the good restaurants around. Yogesh and team are very service minded and do a great job. The breakfast is a very decent one and the cleanliness and hygiene is extraordinary. Nearby there is the Sai Radha heritage hotel which has four rooms. For those who do not prefer a beach, this place again is another experience in itself. During this visit we really felt at home and plan to go there for a longer duration!

Set amidst coconut trees, the heritage block and the cottages of the resort are tastefully done to look like traditional houses of the local region giving it a very homely feel. The staff and their Manager Abhishek are a very friendly and helpful team, quick in their responses to guests' requests. The food is tasty and on request served by the beach. If you fancy a walk along the beach, then you should aim to walk to the Kaup lighthouse which is about 2km from the resort. The sea is pristine, lovely and clean, the views are to die for! The lifeguard is a friendly figure, who, instead of simply being glued to his chair, walks over to every set of guests on the beach and gives tips on how to understand the waves and how to stay safe in the water. This in my opinion is a great value addition as most people underestimate the strength of the sea. I see myself going back to Radha Heritage Beach again and again!

We had a mixed experience in our stay. first the positives

great location and beach : rooms are hardly 20 m from the beach and its a serene location . the property is big and beach facing so you can spend an entire day at the beach .
good rooms : the rooms are blend of antique and modern as the rooms are more than 100 years whch gives you great feel and they have been modernised . its also spacious

negatives
lack of food alternatives : biggest issue is this place does not have proper restaurant and offers morning tea and select breakfast items . it seems they dont have full fledged kitchens and they rely on outside restarants . given this place is far from udipi , there is lack of good veg food at least . also you need to pay cash to the restaurant so be prepared to take cash . the positive spin on this you are allowed to get your own food so you can order drinks and food from outside .
poor service : the hotel takes a lot of time for any cleaning related service and this is irritating as you can come from beach , the room is bound to be dirty . I wont blame the staff as they appear to be understaffed . also same issue is with towels as they give only once a day . hence get a couple of your own towels
lack of reception or support : This is the only resort where there is no reception at all and all requests are to be made to the inhouse incharge . I requested for late check out which was refused even when i was willing to pay for it . then they said they will get back and never got back . this was very unprofessonal .

Overall a balanced view , however families with small kids or kids with issues with food it is better to avoid and also keep your expectations of service low as they are understaffed. also i should mention they allow pets in this place . I am not sure of security as i saw lot of outsiders in the place .

After about 6 months we visited Sai Radha Beach heritage resort. As usual, the ever welcoming Abhishek, the Manager was there to welcome us with a broad smile and gave us a sea facing room. In the evening we started the fun in the beach, this time to our pleasant surprise there was a lifeguard, Mr.Vadiraj, a smiling and caring gentleman who knows the waves well and takes care of the kids. We had a desire to taste toddy and he arranged for fresh toddy the next morning, which was very tasty and refreshing. This time we spent two days, but again felt it was too less. Now the restaurant has started cooking a few dishes. There are also some plans for the expansion of the resorts. For the money we pay, it is absolutely a worthy visit and feel like going again in the next three months and meet the ever smiling Abhishek and team!

One of the Best Stay at BeachSide!!!!!
We around 20 people stayed at at the Sai Radha Beach heritage. It was a family Trip after a long time and it was most memorable stay. Rooms and Bathrooms were so clean. I want to mention about the food of Sai Radha.. Actually we asked for buffet dinner and it was just Awesome especially neer dosa and Chicken sukka ,Anjal Fish, Homemade Ice-cream and Breakfast also it was very nice..
Good Place for family, friends, kids and couples. Everyone can enjoy.
It is the best beach resort we have stayed and the place is comparable to any international destinations you would have seen.
I want to mention here about Manger Mr. Abhishek, he was so friendly, reachable anytime and he provided with information of the nearby places and the good restaurants around. All the Staff were Very Friendly..
We were just planning to visit again this place.. Loved it!!!

Had a terrible experience on the day of our visit .
Along with renting the home stay they rent the empty areas in the premises which can disturb you if you are there for Relaxing or with family and infant or toddlers.

The staff doesn’t care much to tell people around partying to stop and join them in their activities.

We had problems when they burst fireworks at midnight and our infant and toddlers woke up back to back 2 nights . And we had to check out the next day for this reason.

Specially if you are coming from Europe or Uk or anywhere but Asia ,this place is not kid friendly .

🚨
And if you are not happy about something please take a photo or video for your own safety as proof so you can challenge the management when they try to blame everything on you .

Lovely place, a slice of the retro times! Built beautifully and well maintained; Sai Radha heritage is built with the theme of olden times and old houses. They have meticulously brought the wooden frameworks and doors etc from a classic house about which you can read at the place itself, and have built the property in the same essence. Rooms are decent sized and nice. Fabulous furniture. Service is good, a person will be assigned to you and you will be given his number to call. Ther is no central reception or room service. It’s the guy who is your go to person. He will tend to your needs, get you room service etc. Best part is the beach. The property is right on one, so you aren’t too far from views of beautiful waves and sun sets. food is good too! Don’t forget to visit the “kantara house” which is a few meters away. This is where they had shot scenes from the movie. Do experience Sai Radha heritage.

The resort is on the beach. One can sit and enjoy the huge waves from the cottage sitting area.
Staff are very nice and with good attitude. Served good food. Coffee lovers may not like their coffee.
Rooms are good and comfortable. Executive rooms are very good.
Resort should provide proper path from cottages to dinning area and around cottages. Otherwise difficult to walk when it is raining.
Place os amazing. Resort located towards Udupi, 17 KMs away. You can order food from outside.

What experience to be in this private property. We stayed only for a day. Amazing property with 50 meters to the beach, very nice staff. Excellent room. They have decent breakfast spread. They even give you a recommendation for a veg place from where the food can be delivered. You may get distracted with this couple photo shoot that happens here, if you look past that its a MUSt for everyone. Large rooms, nice bathrooms. Kids loved it. They even arranged for a Speed boating trip

An outstanding traditional home converted to a Beach Resort with modern amenities. The place is an old Patel Bungalow rebuilt with modern facilities. The rooms are very spacious, clean and hygienic bed linen. Bathrooms are large with traditional body cleansing solutions. Restaurant is beach facing with adequate choices. Beach is less than 30 metres. Staff services are the highlight. Extremely polite and caring.
