We came out to this village as a day trip and had a wonderful time. Shambhu was a great guide and the food served by his family was very tasty, fresh and clean! We enjoyed seeing the beautiful carpets they make and, had we had known about the homestay earlier, would have loved to have spend a few nights there. So much more calm and relaxed then the hustle and bustle of Jaipur.

Shambhu and his family are not only gracious and welcoming hosts, but they are master dhurrie makers. They will customize just about anything for customers, and ship anywhere in the world. Our dhurrie arrived recently, and we love it. Thanks Shambhu!

We met Shambhu for a Jeep safari tour when we were in Jodhpur. Shambhu is a very sharp and knowledgeable guide, he gave us insights of the the wildlife and village culture outside of Jodhpur and he has a very quick-witted sense of humor. My experience is very similar to some of the other reviews here. A good experience overall and would recommend it to those traveling to Jodhpur.

Me and my mother were there for two nights. It was very nice and interesting to have an insight into the family life of a Rajasthan family. The food was excellent and the people friendly. You can experience another side of Rajasthan and it's totally worth it.

we spent 1 night in this hotel and still was hard to leave . the whole family work together to keep this hotel and you are able to see the way they function as a traditional family.the food is one of the best that i had in my life . the walk to see beautiful sunset on the rocks was memorable with all the local kids very curious about us.
it's was a pleasure to meet every member of this family and i sincerely hope to come back in the place.

my wife and i had a wonderful stay at this superb property in village in dec. and couldn't have asked for more from a city hotel.
the traditional huts were incredibly spacious , spotlessly clean the excellent housekeeping team seemed to sneak in to tidy up each time we stepped outside. and overall we found the property and its array of facilities to be an oasis of calm in the middle of the village area.
the rest of the staff were marvellous too and as first time visitors to india they give us a great impression of india and were a real credit to this beautiful accommodation.
we will definitely return to india and to shambhu prajapat Ecofriendly stay .
