Great place to stay if you want to experience a local Rajasthani culture. Rooms are really good, comes with attached big bathroom which makes it very nice and cozy. The place is bit outside of the main city because of that, you will definitely feel the calmness and the serenity, and the local/rural culture of Rajasthan. Big thank to the owner (and his family), they welcomed us with very positive gesture and treated us as their family member, due to which my stay became very relaxed and friendly. Food was awesome as I wanted to try some local Rajasthani food and whenever I requested for some, without any hesitance, they prepared and served us. This place is highly recommended if you visit Jodhpur.

The houses that we lived in were both charming and could withstanding the heat. Very clean.
The place had a big lawn to relax and of course the swimmingpool. Wifi avaible. If you need transport to Jodhpur the place will accomodate you, that is drive you a jeep - return prize was 3000 rupees.
If you would like to go for a walk there is either a nearby village, which didn´t impress us but also to viewpoints that is good for watching the sunset.
The place serves food but hasn´t as far as I remember a menu. The food is good anyway ( it´s India :-) ).
I told the manager that the big lawn would benefit from an upgrade in chairs, tables and umbrellas.
If you would like a stay that is peaceful and a good value for money this might be it.

well.. best thing was the visit to bishnoi village which was conducted by this property owner in morning , in which they include wildlife safari where we saw black buck , neelgai and then followed by proper educational tour on pottery making , weaving daris and block painting...
as far as place goes ... food was amazing . You will get home cooked food. rooms were also comfortable . only lighting in rooms was less and they dont provide hot water at night or 24×7. hot water is only provided during day...so that was bit uncomfortable if u feel like taking bath aftr coming from long travel and that too in winters, else everything is good, very sweet people.

This is an out of city and out of civilisation kind of place about 22 kms from the city with hardly any means of transport. It’s a walled Haveli type with multiple hut type of rooms to stay and is run by a family. The owner is enterprising and wants to make the place better. It’s good for foreigners to come and stay far away from the city chaos. There is a small common dining hall with just one table and about 10 chairs. The food is cooked on firewood and is just about ok. The fat rice found all over Rajasthan is not to everyone’s taste and is found in every restaurant including this Pukharaj Garh. They have a jeep safari where they take the guests to a nearby village to show pottery and block printing process and this safari costs 1500 per person which is pretty high. The beds have that sinking feel and one tends to wobble while sleeping. The bathrooms are done up nicely with good fittings. Solar water heater installed. One can go for a good 5-6 kms early morning walk outside this haveli and that can be a very refreshing activity to consider.

A bit far away from Jodhpur city, is Pukhrajgarh....a serene and beautiful resort. The family members are jointly running this business. They are extremely warm people. We were greeted in their traditional Rajasthani manner. We even took the Jeep Safari ( extra cost) into the interiors of the village to see black bucks in their natural habitat. We were even taken to the Potter's and printer's house where small demonstrations were given. Food was home cooked on open fire. A typical rajasthani cuisine was served which was lip smacking! I strongly recommend Pukhrajgarh, Jodhpur

My stay in Pukhraj Garh was 13-15 March with my close family members. On arrival I was amazed seeing a grand area, Well mentain garden with big greenery and refreshing breeze. Rooms are spacious and clean, having all amenities and overall you feel cool and comfortable. All meals, I took breakfast and dinners during my stay, are mouthwatering and tasty providing you choices of local food, Indian and bit continental dishes. Staffs are courteous, good listener and supportive. I am very happy for choosing this hotel and would like to visit again.
