We stayed here for 3 nights in their larger room option as part of a tour package which we did some game drives. The hotel is superb. The rooms are huge and really nicely kitted out. Some reviews say they are a bit dated - hmm, it’s modelled on a Haveli so that’s sort of the point?
The facilities are beautiful - the larger pool area is simply stunning. It’s a bit weird to go for a swim there, and you can’t sunbathe as all the beds are under cover, but it is astonishingly beautiful. The smaller pool is much more practical and near the spa, which was also nice if a bit pricey.
The food is really good if you’re into curry. The kids were a little over it by the time we arrived this hotel and we were all desperate for some veggies - so they were really helpful in preparing fried chicken, stir-fried veggies and some fries. They also made pizza another night. A godsend. Perhaps it would be good to offer this sort of thing on a menu rather than on a hopeful request. The staff in the restaurant were excellent and super kind - even remembering the kids’ breakfast order and arriving with it before they even asked!
The wine and beer was reasonably priced - £30 for a bottle of Indian wine which was surprisingly drinkable, and £5 for a large local beer.
We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Would have gone for 3.5^ if possible. The hotel has an imposing exterior, however the internal service delivery is variable. The staff are friendly but the service is erratic - there was no hot water in our room for the two nights we were there and it was fixed the morning we checked out after an 0620 start for a safari. The shower head in our bathroom was broken and sprayed water over the rest of the bathroom - whilst it was fixed the next day, I’m surprised it hadn’t been noticed by housekeeping beforehand. Our hand towels weren’t replaced along with the other towels and we were left one small toilet roll. Small stuff, but it adds up. The buffet breakfast was OK but was the most limited selection of our stays in India so far. Outside evening meal is also a buffet and was good, with a choice of freshly grilled kebabs on our first night. Broadly a similar choice (without the kebabs) on the second night, so would get a bit samey if you were here for more than a few days. Our double room was two single beds pushed together and the room was locked by an old style bolt and padlock, which was a bit fiddly. Had good aircon and heating unit, no TV.

Staying in this hotel was a marvellous experience from start to finish. Arriving at the main gate you walk through beautiful grounds to the reception. After booking in we were shown to our room which was really spacious. Furnished in period furniture you feel you are in another age. It is a million miles away from the faceless modern hotels.
The architecture of the hotel is wonderful, based on old rajput hunting lodges. The courtyards and their surroundings are reached through beautiful doorways. You can sit there and enjoy tea and coffee before your game drives or in the afternoon. Biscuits were freshly made. There is a musician and dancer who entertain you with traditional music and dance which just adds to the wonderful atmosphere.
The food buffets were plentiful and really tasty. There was something for everyone. Due to our love of Indian food it was a real treat to try lots of different dishes. The waiters and the restaurant manager were really attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The chefs were top notch and the barbecue night was fantastic. The dining room amazing and they were happy to show us their new room. The decoration is all you expect from India, opulent and beautifully finished.
We tried the bar and they make excellent cocktails for reasonable prices so a drink before dinner is a must and again the room is from another era. I tried out the swimming pool which I had to myself, it is cold but that was just what I wanted. Nice loungers too.
Everything about this hotel made you feel special and the drive up to it is amazing. I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Such a welcome sight after hours of traveling from Agra. Stunning oasis of a hotel with beautiful architecture and multiple courtyards. Super spacious room and shower room. No fridge, but plenty of water made available. Wooden double doors with a padlock for room key. Gorgeous turquoise pool beside spa; other pool closed. Hotel totally geared up for guests doing safari with pre-dawn & post trip drinks in courtyard. Lovely, friendly and funny staff who anticipated your needs. They learned of our wedding anniversary and gave us a wee celebration cake with a candle, all set up in the new gold and ruby dining room. So kind.. Darminder and Viru were especially chatty. The buffet food was largely curry for all times of the day, but you could get omelette for breakfast and even nice cappuccino. The naan bread was delicious and kept on coming. Waiters were proactive in explaining the food on offer and gave warnings if you didn't want too much chilli heat. The musician in the courtyard greeting you as you entered and went to dine was a lovely touch. We so enjoyed this fabulous hotel and it went a good way to make up for not seeing any tigers on our 3 safaris.

Very comfortable stay. Staff was attentive and helped to every possible extent. Wi-fi in our room wasn't working when we checked in and we asked the staff to fix it. They mentioned that it works better near the reception area. But when we came back from sight-seeing in the evening, it was working and we watched shows on our respective mobiles. Food was also good, multiple options to chose from and the menu was changed in every meal. We had a 2-night stay, and for the second day, food was organized outside with very cozy environment, and musicians/artists. Loved the ambience and the lush gardens. One could easily spend hours there. And you could hop on to Jungle Safari right from this hotel.

Nahargarh Fort Palace Resort is a magnificent property, built in typical Rajasthani architecture, that recreates the myth, mystery, magnificence & pomp of the heydays of the Maharajah’s of Royal Rajasthan.
The property is very spacious and a walkabout is truly mesmerizing, right from the well maintained manicured lawns & gardens with roses to the beautifully maintained swimming pool. The central courtyard is awesome for morning & evening tea enjoyed to the haunting melodious tunes of the single stringed instrument played by staff.
The rooms are comfortable & spacious though the Wifi is a bit slow. There is no minibar or fridge within the room. Staff are polite & courteous and cater to all your needs.
The dining area is very stately & impressive. The buffet meals are good though desserts are limited to just 2 dishes.
Safari is a matter of luck to sight the tigers. Hotel staff informed us the best viewing time is during May when it becomes very hot forcing the tigers to visit the waterholes often.

The property is well designed with several rooms arranged around courtyards dotted with flowering trees. The rooms are also spacious and fairly well maintained. We did face an issue with respect to malodor in one of the washrooms and had to get it cleaned. There are small animals like lizards in the corridors and rooms and frogs outside. We even spotted a mouse one night in the courtyard. The staff do try to control these and mosquitos by regular spraying. The property is designed to look like a heritage palace hotel but is actually only 15 years old, so it does not really have a history and comes across as a tad pretentious. The Haathi kund is a very pretty pool and they also have a snooker table and table tennis. They only had two paddles available though so we could not play doubles. They arrange for evening entertainment such as bonfires, documentaries, bbq etc but the noise from their banquet area was quite loud and distrubing both nights we stayed there. The food is very average, far too oily and lacking flavor. It was not hot enough also and hence did not appear completely fresh. The live counters are good - missi roti for all meals, omlettes for breakfast. All in all a good option to stay. Very close from the park. Staff advised us well about the safari and travel routes from NCR.

I don’t know how to describe the bad experience , would suggest never visit this place , there are many hotels which are far far better 1. Non welcoming , Non courteous staff. 2. Service is very poor , 3 hours to bring opener. 3. No tea in the morning ( room service ) , no tea before morning safari , they serve but 15 minute before safari time , you are bound to be late. 4. Tasteless food , one order of tea takes 20 minutes to serve in dining hall. 5. No one would help you to carry your heavy Equipments ( camera lenses etc ) 6. No phone battery charging points in rooms , remove lamp plug and charge 7. Distance of sockets is 1.5 mtr from bed , don’t even imagine to attend call while charging 8 broken sofas ( room 216 ) 9. Phone wire will be disconnected if you pick the receiver 10. Can’t enjoy your drink out side room or common area until it is bought from their bar 11. Serving wine in the package is gimmick , only 2 glasses for 2 persons 😀, not a bottle
Not worth visiting

We enjoyed our time at Nahargarh. Lovely spacious rooms and feeling of space in the hotel - you rarely saw other guests other than when dining. We had the pool to ourselves in-between the morning and afternoon tiger safaris (yes, we did see tigers in the afternoon - it was wonderful!). Found it strange that some of the photographs on the bedroom walls were of hunting groups with tigers they had shot - but I guess that is the history of the place?
The staff were helpful and friendly. On our second night the chef made us a vegan feast - which was wonderful and we would like to thank him and his team very much.
We stayed two nights but would have liked to stay a little longer to appreciate this hotel.

The Haveli is situated farthest from the main lobby and entrance. its about 5-6 minutes walk, which is quite enjoyable. i loved it as it was separated from the hullabulla of the main courtyard, with its own terrace and lounge. the rooms there are more or less the same as per the category you select.
