The luxuriously appointed wooden cottage was lovely with a perfect view of the falls. The food was delicious. It is a sprawling property with beautiful lawns. The AC in our room kept on tripping, but we didn't miss it much because it was November. There is no telephone in the room to contact the dining hall, which is a couple of hundred meters away. Not complaining, but just to point out that mobile phones don't function unless they are on BSNL. Great place to stay for one night.

Excellent Location

The resort is in the best possible location. You can see the entire fall from the room balcony which is just amazing. The property is very nice but it needs maintenance. The rooms needs maintenance --- the plug points , the wash rooms , ACs , TVs... each and every aspect needs to be seen. Worst is no room service. I insist the concerned official to see to it. It is urgent.

Unimaginable Location, Beyond Belief Oxy Zone..

Arrived to Chitrakoot Falls at evening. (The falls lies on the bank of Indrawati River-Jagdalpur) We checked in to this lovely Resort on 15th September 2019 for an overnight stay, which is at the adjacent side of the Roaring Waterfall, with a stunning view. Every room has a big glass doors, through which, you could have a direct view of the gushing waterfall. As it got dark, this place calms down, and all you can hear, the sound of waterfall. The wooden cottages have a private balcony, from which you can see the magnificent Chitrakoot Falls. (Preferable is Wooden Cottages from 201 to 206).You can sit and enjoy tea & Snacks, watching the waterfall in only green landscape, it’s just 500 metres from resort, with no time bounding’s, anyone may enjoy the sheer volume of water in night also. It is amazingly breathless to FEEL THE GIGANTIC, ROARING, CHITRAKOOT WATERFALLS!! My Road Journey to this beautiful place, you may refer my review of Chitrakoot Falls. Only the positives # (Ignoring the Negative Points of This Peaceful Location- Life is too short to spend in negativity- So I have made a conscious effort to not be where, I don't want to be) The location is great. Our room was spacious and comfortable and filled with decent lightings. The lobby is grand, also having Safe Parking Place, Play Park for kids, tents for those who want a stay in camp. Don't expect modern decor. The room was rather "homey" artistically decorated, but we liked it. All kind of modern amenities, such as, AC, hot water geyser, DTH, Restaurant. Facilities of resort are perfectly adequate. Restaurant & Administrative Block is far Away from Wooden Cottages, but WALKING with sound of guzzling of water in the lap of Mother Nature on a green grass of Lawn, can circumvent all of this. Local people are helpful, humble and I received best hospitality during my stay. Can't expect services at your doorstep, so for fooding (Delicious; must taste Desi Chicken/Kadaknath) either you have to carry it by yourself, or have to play the role of service boy). Mobile network: Only Jio, no other network will support. And we all know, how the Government Resorts usually functions in India. It all depends of what you like, but for us, honestly is worth it to see the waterfall from this Property. Only online booking is done with CG TOURISM SITE at very reasonable Price Rates. Best time to visit: Enjoy the awesome experience, to hear the sound of Water in pin drop silence environment, at this Countryside during monsoon (July to September).. Nearby Must visits: Tirathgarh Falls (better beauty, as a waterfall), Chitradhara Fall(mesmerizing surrounding), Kutumsar Caves, Kanger Valley National Park (all are approximately at 01:30 hrs journey from this resort, through lush green smooth roads) I will stay here again & this Dandami Luxury Resort WILL ALWAYS be Our First Choice, whenever Staying in Jagdalpur. ..Wishing all Readers a Happy Holiday and Safe Drive..…

memorable stay

we stayed here on 25 oct19 for one night we are 23 members coming from kakinada and stayed here.the manager mr dileep is contacting on phone looked every thing to us.he arranged dinner to us.given rooms side by side.we are all fully satisfied the service by the staff and particularly mr dileep.un fortunately we miss him to meet coz he was on leave but given memorable service. the rooms are neat and clean.the surroung atmosphere is awesome.the waterfall we can see from our balcony.we can reach the falls by walk. the food is good and fresh made.we enjoyed dinner as well as breakfast.the price is normal.thanks for chatiisgarh tourism proper maintance of this resort.rooms avliable in chattisgarh tourism website..or contact mr dileep.he gives genuine service for room booking,food and sight seeing guidence. the stay is one of the best memorable stay to us.…

My stay at Dandami Luxury Resort

I have stayed at the Dandamy Luxury Resort from 15th October to 17th October 2019 with four of my family members including a child. It is a beautiful place for those who want to spend a couple of days in the lap of the nature. It is just beside the Chitrakote Falls, Jagdalpur and in a walking distance. There is only one property which is closer to the falls that is PWD bungalow but unfortunately this is not for the tourist but only for the government officials. So if you want to stay near the falls then it is the best option. I haven't found any other option near the falls, there may be some. It has few cottages ranging from Room No. 201 to 208 and some rooms ranging from 101 to 112. There are two rooms named Room A & B in between cottage 205-206 & 207-208. Among all these the falls can be viewed best from Room No. 101 and Cottage No. 201. As the room no. progresses it is further off from the falls. Whereas as the Cottage No. progresses it becomes closer to the falls but due to some natural bushes total falls is not visible. Fortunately I stayed at room no. 101 (Thanks to the manager of the property who is very cooperative) and my parents at 102. 101 is such a room where you can see the entire falls by sitting at your bed. From the other rooms falls can be visible if you came out to the balcony. There is a big playground here. The rooms are big and clean with all basic amenities including AC and room cleaning has been done everyday. Each room also has a small antichamber and a specious bathroom fitted with a water geaser. All the persons who works here are very polite and simple. The restaurant is ok and you can get many dishes though since this is a lonely far off place sometime some dishes are not available. The restaurant is about 300 meter from the room and except morning bed tea there is no room service. So you have to go everytime to the restaurant. Room no. 109-112 are closer to the restaurant but they are slightly distant from the falls. There is no other activities except the falls here and no mobile connection is there (at least Vodafone or Airtel, I do not have Jio) except BSNL. So if anyone wants to enjoys thd nature in an isolated manner then it is a very good place for him.…
