This is a nice property to stay in Kaziranga. They have a lot of open space and have cottages. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are big, neat and clean. Running hot and cold water is available. Staff is nice and friendly. Just keep in mind that they have timings for their kitchen so plan your meals accordingly. Food is OK and not that great. Price of the rooms are slightly on the higher side but I guess that is a common factor in Kaziranga.
The property is located near Kohora Entry point which gives it an advantage. We had a comfortable stay here and the food is really very nice. Would recommend others to stay here. Note: The resort is having reasonably priced rooms but the price of food is on a higher side. Would rate it 5 stars & would love to stay here again.
We stayed there for a destination wedding. Had a nice stay. Typical resort type in a natural setting. Had a cocktail reception outdoor with lots of lights. It was like a fairytail in the night. Food was good too with good starters. Now for the cons, rooms seems outdated needs upgrading. Hot water was flowing nicely for showers but did not provide clean up service daily. We had tea in the room and was there when we left two days later. Only one small soap for two days. Breakfast is ok but slow. If you are waiting for purees its a long time coming to resupply. Overall, had a enjoyable family gathering. Did not eat in the restaurant.
We started 2018 with a quest for rhino and elephants at Kaziranga in Assam and of the various hotels we looked up, we chose Bon Habi. A quiet little hotel with detached cottages for rooms, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were basic but extremely neat and clean, staff was cheerful and cooperative and the food from the extensive menu of Indian and Chinese food was extremely tasty! The hotel organised our airport pick ups and drops along with a last minute impromptu day trip to the Gibbon Sanctuary, smoothly and efficiently. We enjoyed dining in the room as well as in the comfortable dining hall where there is also plenty of seating to enjoy a cup of coffee by the fireplace. You also have the option of soaking up some sun during mealtimes at a cute little gazebo in their…
This place almost scored fine for me on all the quadrants. You get to see a warm & energetic team at the reception, the way to rooms/cottages is lush as it would be in any safari area. The service is good, food has limited options but the kitchen serves with a dash of their best efforts. Location of the place is slightly ahead of the central range, it looks as if the place is past its prime but the staff just about holds on to ensure that the bare minimum are fine. Washroom lacked any kind of aesthetics, I believe all of it has been reserved for the reception lobby only.
