One of the best Resorts visited by me in the recent time. Location was off Kaziranga National Park but the layout of the Resort was excellent. Taking advantage of the contour of the foothills, two buildings were aptly designed. Entrance to the building and the floors of the rooms were nicely planned. Rooms were large in size with individual balcony - housekeeping was quite good. And room service was quite prompt and dishes ordered were also well prepared. Complimentary breakfast was also adequate with a nice spread.
Overall, our stay was fulfilling and enjoyable.

One of the best hotels in Kaziranga better than the one inside the park due to certain specific reason mainly free access 24/7.
The rooms we stayed in had a stair to an attic which my daughter enjoyed. The authentic Assamese restaurant within the resort is a treat to any gourmet. The main dining hall is also fairly well serving great buffet breakfast and various ala carte options. The resort arranged safari jeeps to take is into Kohra and another zone inside the forest. We were extremely lucky to have sighted a Royal Bengal tiger! Just too good a memory. Highly recommended. Hope to return another day to enjoy their warm hospitality. Assamese people are so very nice and polite. One should experience their care. The spa within the resort was also fabulous and relaxing.

The hotel is welcoming guests and was quite occupied even though the main attraction Kaziranga NP is closed now, this means a lot in regards to its popularity. Stayed for 3 days recently with peace of mind, as I stepped in I could feel that the hotel is maintaining COVID protocols to the extent possible for safety of the guests. The guest rooms are spacious to accommodate a couple with 2 kids easily with necessary amenities at offer. Cool and natural environment that can attract a lot of people. Breakfast was satisfying with a decent spread however the present menu at offer for other times is a bit limited. Also tried the Assamese restaurant and tasted the thali and local fish at offer but found that to be not highly satisfying at the offered rates. There can be better options in the neighbourhood for Assamese thali and local fish preparations.

This is a pretty resort with beautiful garden .The rooms r spacious with a balcony. Rooms r neat n clean. The staff are friendly n courteous.Restaurant serves a variety of dishes.Breakfast is elaborate.
But the main drawback is "ROOM HEATER" There is no proper heating system. A tiny heater is placed at one corner of a huge room. We had a bad experience as it was so cold in January. The heater cannot be shifted as there are no plug points. Itwill be fine to stay in summer. Also the bathroom needs renovation as WC is very old. But if these r rectified its a good place.

We booked a luxury room off-line. When we booked in Sept 22 we were told that the room tariff booked before Oct22 is 4K +. And since we’re are booking in Sept we will just have to pay 4K+. But when we were checking out we were told that the tariff is 7K+ for Oct onwards when ever we book. All liars looting own people. Be very careful while speaking to those guys. Keep everything in black and white. Never trust them. The service is not as per 7K+. Should not be even a1 star rating.

Nice ish room and food OK but the concierge are there to rip you off on any tours you take. They ruined our stay by charging international prices for my Assamese father, and charged adult fare for child 8 and then after trip tried to charge for our 4 year old.despite the hotel having photocopies of our passports and did the booking for us the night before. They also charged us for a jeep to the safari although we had our own car. This was a mistake as the jeep is cold uncomfortable and you can drive and park just by the safari. It is better to buy your tickets direct at the park and save paying all the commission to the hotel concierge.

Room was damp and had an ordour, the water smells quite foul from the bathroom but water is warm and good pressure.

Restaurant staff are very pleasant.

The hotel stands to benefit with the fact of proximity to the gates of Kaziranga National Park. It was one of the main reasons to book our stay here.

The property is large, but needs a lot of work to keep up to the current standards. It's clean but looks pretty worn out. The rooms are spacious, however the dim-dull lighting kept a gloomy effect with the early sunsets. We stayed here for 3nights, since we also had a day trip to Hoollongapar Gibbon sanctuary.

The buffet breakfast was decent. I enjoyed a dinner at their Assamese speciality restaurant Bhatbaan. The restaurant manager will suggest the right options based on your taste.

The staff are polite and courteous but the room service is slightly laid back. We had to call multiple times for water bottles. Also for some strange reason they don't have the front office staff during early morning hours. We had an issue with the jeep in our morning safari and there was no one to help us. We raised this during check-out, but didn't get a proper reply

Everything was overpriced including a normal room tarrif, food and drinks on the bar. There should be a cap on the price. A large peg of 100 piper's whiskey was for ₹500 rupees. A chicken biryani with 2 small pieces of chicken and an egg was for ₹ 400 plus. Taxes extra. Rooms were no great shakes either. But a whopping ₹ 6700 was charged for a night stay. Complimentary breakfast buffet was pretty average compared to the rates charged for the room. A price cap should be imposed on these private resorts

Terrible at communication ! We gad booked fr 4 nights , They had to vacate the hotel fr the presidents visit. Instead of relocating us straightaway they wanted to take the frst 2 days revenue and then relocating us .
The person who called was not the sales person we were dealing it .
Afterwards they tried to relocate us to a hotel half the price we had paid . Not Done iora ! Get your act together .

Photographers avoid this place ! Its not for us. No early morning service . Nobody answers calls before 7 am !!! The packed breakfast is terrible. Nobody to offer water or any service at the end of the safari.

The only good thing is the assamese restsurant and Chef Sharma . He was delightful nd the food was fabulous and fresh ! The All day dining was just as bad as this was good . Breakfast spread is huge but no taste and a distinctive lack of seasoning! We had chinese one evening and the chicken was definitely stale or fried in rancid oil . No action was taken even when pointed out :( as im a chef I will know this .

A very comfortable stay at your IORA Kaziranga hotel. Despite a late night arrival, the front desk was expecting and ready for us with Mr. Naba shuttling us to our room (he also greeted me in the morning). Breakfast restaurant staff were also very attentive and welcoming by preparing a very nice buffet breakfast including a live Indian food station with Mr. Bikas and Mr. Siva preparing dosa and omelets (the omelet was excellent). Mr. Bibomas the waiter also checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were comfortable. After coming back to the restaurant for lunch after the white rhino safari, the food was great with restaurant manager Mr. Hayan Ali being very friendly and making good conversation, which we appreciated. Thank you very much for a great stay and experience!

It depends on what time of the year you are going. We went during their cultural festival time and were able to witness the different types of dances.
