Mundota Fort and Palace stands out as a hotel lauded for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and enchanting royal allure. While the majority of guests are enchanted by the regal atmosphere and modern amenities, some do express concerns over room maintenance and the bustling nature during events. The service earns high marks for its professionalism and attentiveness, contributing to the hotel's reputation for creating memorable stays.
However, opinions on value are divided, with a few guests questioning the cost relative to their expectations. Despite this, the hotel's picturesque location and commitment to a royal experience remain a draw for many.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Mundota Fort and Palace. The entire property is gorgeous and the palace has been lovingly restored and maintained by the owner. Just walking around the hotel grounds was amazing because every time you turn a corner there is another beautiful detail—it is a truly magical, special and visually stunning place!
Our room was gorgeous—from the beautifully painted ceiling to the period furniture and fittings that matched the setting perfectly. Our TV worked perfectly and the staff went the extra mile to add a new channel so that we could watch a football game. We were provided with portable WiFi that not only worked on the room and the property but also when we were out in the city of Jaipur. We thought this was an ingenious solution for a remote location with very thick walls where regular WiFi wouldn’t work properly.
We cannot say enough about the kind and accommodating staff. They were so pleasant and went out do their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. On our last morning at breakfast, one of the staff members brought me a latte. This is what I ordered on my first day of the trip. I was so impressed that he remembered and thought it was so kind that he brought it to me without my having ordered it. Speaking of dining, the food was so delicious! I keep thinking about some of the dinners and dishes we had while we were there—it was that tasty. We loved that the food was fresh, local and “farm to table.” For is, the fact that the menu was different and unique everyday added to the experience of staying at the Palace. It was exciting to see what new and delicious dishes would be brought to us.
It cannot be overstated how beautiful the property is. The attention to detail is outstanding and so is the location. The hotel is tucked away in a remote corner—which makes it feel like a true getaway. With its own private fort, polo grounds and hiking trails, there is so much to do whilst there. Even though we visited during one of the coldest winters in India in almost a century, the rooms were well heated. The staff even made sure the outdoor spaces were comfortable and warm with ample bonfires and outdoor heaters.
We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Being a resident of delhi, I’m familiar with the Samode’s, Oberoi Vilas, Tree of life, and other such places which have become too common for most of delhi. Mundota Fort was a breath of fresh air. An astoundingly beautiful property situated at the top of a cliff, overlooking the village and long expanse of Aravali Hills. God, it really is a stunner.
Location - Just about say 4.5 hours drive from Delhi and pretty smooth sailing. We entered the village Mundota and found our way to the palace pretty easily. I think the location is the best part because there is nothing around and it’s quiet so a great place for people who don’t want to move around too much and enjoy the property and the view.
Rooms - We stayed at the Mundota Fort and NOT the Mundota Palace. This fort was originally a war fortress which was damaged and later reconstructed by the royal family of Mundota and it is an absolute stunner. I’ve never stayed in a property like this and just the fact of living inside of a fort on top of a cliff and waking up to such amazing views and a plunge pool with every room is just the best reward after COVID 19. The rooms are massive and have so much space with beautiful antiques which tastefully add to the beauty of the room. The beds were great and sleep was calming. Each room has a different feel to it and the fact that the hotel has decided to turn a war fort into a luxury hotel experience is seriously commendable (carving rooms out of stone is no joke). While the Fort has a different vibe, when you go down to the palace, the rooms there boast of beautiful Fresco ceilings and separate decoration of each room. In Mundota Palace, a meal in their lunch room which is adorned with Fresco work from top to bottom is a must.
Service - The service at Mundota was amazing. We were a bunch of girls who came down for a bachelorette so you can imagine. Not only were they incredibly flexible with our not so flexible timings, but happily and willingly accommodated us and our dietary requirements. Amit, the F&B manager was absolutely amazing and ensured that we got the right grub and the best Jungli Mass. The support staff which included Taara Singh and many others were adorable and would serve with a calm smile and no stress. It makes the vacation all the more comfortable. Plus, the Operations Manager, Swapnil, ensured our entire stay was great. A tip for all incoming guests to take a tour from him and hear the Mundota story with all its treasures and folklore.

We were a family of four who visited Mundota for the weekend, and only wish it was longer. The property ( we stayed at the War Fort as well as in the Palace) was immaculately clean, which was such a relief in the current times. It was extremely calm and serene and offered utmost privacy, and the best was it is all very fairly priced. The staff and management is very helpful and accommodating, and will go out of their way to help you out. The food tastes very fresh and scrumptious, nothing short of a 5 star, and to my delight very fairly priced.
Some things I recommend:
Horse Riding
Jeep ride
Sundowner by the pool
Rajasthani dinner at the fort
Food Favorites:(vegetarian )
Literally all of their Indian food on the menu
Aglio Olio Pasta
Butter grilled vegetables
Grilled sandwiches
Dahi ke kebab
stuffed mushrooms
Room preference:
Fort room with a private plunge pool( round pool, utmost privacy and unique experience.
PS: The property has adopted indie dogs which gives them 10 extra stars. Sheru and Dandy were very friendly and playful, my kids were delighted and we are convinced to soon adopt an indie ourselves.

Had my wedding at Mundota Fort & Palace and it's a decision I'll always remember as one of my best.
Pictures don't do justice to the natural beauty and majestic feel of the place. Experience it to believe it! Equipped with modern facilities in enormous palatial rooms, with courtyards, a decent sized swimming pool, and a Fort in the background, you won't be disappointed. Take a trip up to the Fort for an amazing view or better still, stay up there when the rooms are ready! Pools, Jacuzzis, open terrace.. Can't wait to go back and try them out!
A special thanks to Digvijay, Swapnil and the rest of your team, Bahadur, Himmat, Karan, Gajendra, Rakesh, and everyone else I missed naming. You guys made it possible and you're doing a great job in making dreams come true! Each member of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. All our guests left with beautiful memories, satiated taste buds and heaps of praise! Keep it up!
Definitely a place to stay at, host your wedding, parties or just to get away from it all! Looking forward to being back soon!

If you're planning a trip to Jaipur, then just half an hour away is this truly lovely stylish oasis of calm and grandeur, with wonderfully warm staff. Ours sadly was only an overnight stay, but we were able to relax in beautiful large rooms, stroll down exquisite colonnades, and take a trip up to the fort, now converted into 5 amazing suites each with their own jacuzzi - perfect for a private party or wedding venue. You can stroll through Mundota village or relax by the pool. For our evening meal we opted for the Rajathani meal and were treated to dinner set on one of the large balconies with the fort lit above us.

We stayed at one of the plunge pool rooms in the Fort. The rooms were ginormous, beautifully done and gave a feel of staying in a heritage property with traditional rajasthani interiors. The private plunge pool and terrace were absolute game changers - cool, clean, magnificent views of Mundota and the perfect hangout spot for a group. The service exceeded expectations - every request was completely swiftly and with a personal touch -from room service to organizing jeeps to the palace to informing us about upcoming events. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as pleasant as it could be! Highly recommend this property and especially the Fort rooms!

We were a family of four and stayed at mundota Palace over the weekend. This trip was booked on a friend’s recommendation who had stayed at the Fort, since we were travelling with children we chose the Palace.
Some things I would like to emphasise on
Staff: The entire staff, right from reception to drivers, waiters, housekeeping team was exceptionally proactive. At the time of check in itself they took note of all our preferences connected food, activities etc. Due to COVID they take all order over the phone and execute everything very efficiently. They are just once call or message away. It was raining heavily when we arrived and they very kindly let us check into our rooms much earlier than the usual time- this was very helpful as we were travelling with two children and were very tired after a long drive from delhi.
Food: The Indian and Rajasthani food was the highlight. We also tried their mocktails and cocktails, and some continental food - we liked all of it. They take care of everyone’s likes and dislikes and make the food according to your requirement, it’s very fresh and scrumptious. Must try their Lal Maas, Bejad ki roti, Vegetarian Lasagne, and their tandoor starters.
Activities: We tried horse riding, the children were ambitious enough to try trot and canter while we preferred to enjoy the walk and spend time with the horses. Very sweet baby horses at their farm ( see picture ) and friendly knowledgeable staff at the polo grounds as well. you will never want to leave the horses after meeting them.
We did a Picnic on the polo ground as well and enjoyed tea time by the pool side. The monsoon has done its magic and everything is very green and pretty.
Rooms: Very spacious and comfortable, we took a palace suite with a sit out and enjoyed seeing the peacocks from our balcony in the mornings. The rooms are tastefully done up and you really feel like you are staying in a kings house.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great Value for money. Come for at least two days to truly enjoy it. The best part about our stay is the staff because they really make the stay memorable. The hotel is well kept and beautifully done up with very intricate paintings and art work. We also visited the War Fort in the evening and it was so unique, definitely on our bucket list now. The hotel can only get better with time, we travelled in COVID times but still felt very safe and healthy, and are very rejuvenated after our stay.

We had a wonderful and intimate family stay at The Mundota Fort & Palace, Jaipur. What an experience, and one of the most unique stays that we have experienced! All staff were extremely hospitable, flexible and adaptable to all of our individual needs. A big thank you to Mr. Digvijaya Singh for arranging this beautiful getaway for us during these unprecedented times! We felt very comfortable and appreciated that all staff had worn masks throughout.
We had the opportunity to get personalized service from Amit, who went out of his way to take very good care of us- he was on virtually on his toes nonstop! His entire team was exceptional and very attentive. The food was extremely delicious; the laal maas, jungle Maas, kesar kaju halwa were favourites! Everything!!! The Rajasthani Thali was an amazing experience served on a table showered with rose petals and lit candles. Each dish had its own flavour and characteristic. We were happy to meet with the Chef and give him our honest feedback - much to his delight. The team arranged our private dining at both the Fort and Palace and each experience was so unique and so different!
The rooms were just breathtaking with panoramic views of the village and Palace. The rooms and linen were immaculately clean.
Swapnil spent a lot of time orienting us with the Polo grounds and letting us meet all the beautiful Horses. We learnt so much about horses and got to also view a Polo training game. What a beautiful set up and well maintained grounds!
Vikram gave us a detailed orientation of the Palace and its royal past and spoke in a beautiful language. The entire Fort & Palace are well maintained, every nook and corner has been extremely well maintained - bespoke architecture and truly exquisite.
Thank you to the entire staff and team and we cannot wait to return!!! :)

Lovely fort. The design elements are fabulous. Beautifully restored and very good service.Sit in the terrace during the dayand ask for Amit to give you a cocktail. He spice them according to taste and sometimes according to his reading of your moods- almost always perfect. This is not your regular Jaipur trip. It's out of the city, but an experience in itself and ofcourse the wonderful temple is right around the corner. If they give off season discounts then as a family take their all 5 suites which all has its own private pool and service of Amit ji and his team which rivals any other in the world- special. They also did a candle light dinner for us which was very romantic. ... mostly because of the view and what they have done with resurrecting the place to more than its original glory.

Stayed one night at the fort and one night at the palace. Loved the fort room and the special jacuzzi that had fantastic view. All the fort rooms are different with different Jacuzzi settings so check them out before if you can. This room had terraces around it at the highest point of the fort so views from swimming pool area were too good. But best to be here when not too hot.
Palace room was beautiful and more comfortable. Fort rooms need more maintainance and were surely overpriced for the quality they were in at the moment.
Tarachand ji was very warm and welcoming and helped resolved all needs at the earliest.
Stay was somewhat spoiled by manager Bharat who does not have the warmth to this personality but is suspicious of the guest in a very unprofessional way. He literally challenged me that i was hiding my day guest in the room since he did not see them leaving the property. So i had to challenge him to visit my room for this satisfaction or call the security guard. On the last day he suddenly said that according to visitor policy i could not have the nanny stay in the room so long. So i told him that information was not told to me and secondly at time of booking he know that i was traveling with nanny and had suggested a hotel room nearby for her. Our most beautiful memories of Mandotta were ruined by the small thinking attitude of mr. Bharat.

Without any doubt the rooms at the Fort, its a different experience all together. No palace can match that unique experience
The food is great, they have fantastic dishes from the tandoor. My personal favourite was the Indian course with tandoori tikkas, chicken curry along with other dishes. Must go! I also loved the coffee they served me on the terrace overlooking the beautiful palace garden and fort
