Service is very bad, Restaurant even charge for onion salad, even the menus are repeated for another days, Room cleanliness is not maintained even after depositing keys, while going out. For each & every basic need , you need to call reception & then room boys comes late. No internet is working for our 2 days stays, every now & then Electricity down , resulting in AC is down in such summer, In my other's friends case - he has to shift thrice to get good AC working.

Perhaps there would have been option for NO STAR - I have been travelling with my family since last 16 years but never got cheated like this.I have already posted a review for Aquays Havlok property which was better in some aspect but once we reached here , it was a nigh-mare. I do not want to make a lengthy review as till now whatever I have mentioned is fair enough to understand the absolute negative feedback.Basic amenities like electricity, water was not there till evening since we checked in at 11 AM.Though electricity was intermittent however no water for a whole day.Shape of rooms and washrooms are even worst than budget hotel and no maintenance.Food served in buffet[though most of the time we had to wait with empty plate] is awful and even worst than any roadside food stall.No room service-we had to wait for a bath towel for 2 hours!! Reception was dead-no response ever.A group of 20 tourists started shouting and playing DJ whole evening with alcohol in open space inside the hotel and all other guests had to bear the pain.They don't even know the basic courtesy to deal with guest.Have you ever experienced anywhere , the used and clean glasses are kept in one place in same direction?I would like to term this resort as full of insane.When we got stuck due to the cyclone alert, some 2-3 staffs were with me and they even denied to serve food on time by kept on changing the options. If anyone wanna ruin the trip of Neil island ,this is the best place to stay.

We four couples reached Neil Island from Havelock on 25th March 2022 by Max 2 ferry of Mecroozz and were taken to this beautiful Aquay 's resorts. Room number 109 to 112. Lovely rooms, lovely surroundings and great ambiance. The staff very very courteous. Only drawback was the food which was not very tasty and spicy. Otherwise very comfortable stay

It was a wonderful experience. Each and everything was beyond expectations. it's food service and staff were very good ,I am enjoying a lot of experience here.this is a best resort to stay and for everything. Great hospitality. Will visit again.

This is this worst property and management i have ever found.....rooms , service , food is totally bad....they dnt deserve to run this property...very old....room having bedbucks....water taps are leakage.....breakfast and dinner is the highest part of error.....not recommend this property ...this is not even 2 star.....staff dnt have any manner or sense of working.....they are charging some around 400 to 500rs for dinner per person...but it is not worth for even 200rs....

dirty room B) no mini fridge in room - needed to keep insulin injection C) bathroom Flush not working D) inadequate Shower Spray water flow + obvious blockage E) stairway light for First Floor not working. Hence room access and door unlit F) Airconditioner not working. G) Dinner Buffet for Non veg - only fish option given . No consideration for non fish eaters. Compulsorily order from A La Carte Menu H) food quality very low overall. Though A La Carte dish was good. I) First Restaurant we have ever been to which does not place water glass on Table . Stating it is in Buffet. Around 7 am after repeated calls to your Reception, House keeping staff declared everything fine. For insulin injection storage , your reception wanted me to store with them inspite of room amenities list including mini fridge. On my insistence, mini fridge was provided. After dinner, returned to room using dark stairs . AC non functional, bathroom issues persisted. After repeated complaint, room was finally changed to 404. Asked Manager to come and resolve. Gentleman totally clueless and trying to indicate favour for room change. Has no idea of what is happening in front of his eyes and no clue of happenings. Giving bizzare reasons like 1) sandy area so rooms will be dirty. 2) lights come from Port Blair and even if the room is directly in front of restaurant where he is prowling around with the toy - walkie talkie - he does not care. 3) he cannot see waiters are not placing water on table.even when he is right there. 4) your person sitting in Restaurant reception asks for room number 5 times in a matter of 2 minutes. Very pathetic standards of manager and immediate staff. You have made a nice property but your people are pulling you down. By itself, we would not be bothered by your restaurant staff theatrics, but we do expect a comfortable functional room, which was not the case.

Seems this used to a Holiday Inn property few months back. Hotel is huge and has two wings separated by a public road between the two. Both wings have swimming pool. The rooms, the bed linen etc need replacement. Rooms, doors, bathrooms needs some maintenance. The beach of this hotel is actually a marshy land and smelly. The only running restaurant needs major attention. They offer very limited menu options and many a times, you may receive half the order e.g you order a biryani which comes with raita but when it is served, you might be eating biryani with salad since raita not available. Restaurant accepts only cash and so do other shops. Many of them accept GPay /Paytm but mobile connectivity is a major issue is the on this entire Island.

The photos give you a clear indication of properties looks and they are not much different from actual site. However what was actually disappointing was lack of basic hospitality and attitude of staff. Neil island requires you to carry cash in advance as island has only two ATMs and nil network (except BSNL). This was news to us as we were not expecting this and hence were not ready for this. The main issue came when we came to know that main reception and restaurant in this hotel work separately. If you order anything as room service or in restaurant, you are required to pay in cash at same time and not during check out. The restaurant management makes no effort in managing this aspect. Further, when asked for the reason for same time payment, restaurant staff blatantly mentions that guests leave without paying. Clear indication of lack of manner and etiquette amongst the staff. Further, if you go to restaurant of neighbor resort, they make efforts to provide you network (Wi-Fi or hotspot) to enable UPI payment. In my case network was slow then the restaurant only took details and politely submitted that we can try it again next day. Aquays can learn a lot for their neighbours. Housekeeping is slow, food management and staffs competence is pathetic to say the least.

Neil Island is small- about 10km across. the lagoon-vista rooms were under renovation during Diwali vacation thus rooms were given other-side of main-hotel. Pool is huge- and they play nice music to entertain families 6pm-7pm; they have 1 restaurant and it gets crazy busy 7pm onwards.. too many 'room-orders', buffet's empty and few tables with families waiting for food forever. Staff was trying hard to run-around as fast as possible. there is no phone, network at this hotel- thus CASH ONLY. It's connected to beach-on other-side with mangroves and they arrange romantic dinner for interested couples. Security guard runs all around putting bags-in and out-of rooms. Rooms are huge and bathrooms clean too. Breakfast was okay too with limited choice. Ordered a Omlette and it took more than 30min !
