This is one of the best places I've been to in Wayanad. This is the place to be if your looking for a very relaxed weekend getaway. We stayed at the Thalapuzha bunglow - a very old British bunglow that is very well maintained & picturesque. The rooms are really spacious and has a lot of greenery around. The bunglow has only 6 rooms, so not crowded at all - hence a good place to be during covid times. The food was delicious and had alot of options. A big thanks to Binoy & the team at parisons - they made sure that we had a perfect weekend. Looking forward to more visit in the future.
Amidst lockdown and the work from home chaos, I was really exhausted. The anxiety levels shoot up and my mental state was getting outta hand. Thats when I thought of taking a small break and due to the covid situation I could only look for a remote escape in a resort or something like that. When I asked my friend he suggested me this resort to get a much needed get away. I stayed here for 3D 2N. I must say it was a memorable experience. Coming to the experience part, the resort is not so crowded and its silent. It has only 6 rooms and that provides more privacy for us. Food here is so good except the tea ☕️ 😄. I visited their kitchen couple of times for making my own personal requests for food. They got me what I wanted. Their kitchen was super clean. Some of the staffs are 40…
Like everyone else we too wanted to get away from home post the COViD lockdown. We were looking at a place close to B’lore and we tried a few high end properties. All of them were booked out and a friend recommended this place. Good for those who want to spend quality time in a 100year old bungalow. Nestled amongst the tea gardens, it’s a place to quieten down and relax. Don’t expect any activities apart from charting your own treks and walks. Not too many options to eat out too. - Location: talapoya bungalow is our recommendation. Pricy but each rooms are about 500sqft with all amenities. Super spacious. - Hospitality: Binoy the new manager was very accommodative and hospitable. Each of the staff was super friendly and hospitable. - Food: Kerala cuisine, but outstanding as…
Loved the place... An authentic British Colonial bungalow, neatly maintained with spacious rooms, bathrooms and common areas... With just 6 rooms, the place is never crowded and u get ample privacy.. The bungalow is surrounded by lush green tea estate and its worth to have a walk through it... its so peaceful and quiet.. The only sound u get to hear is the chirping of birds and the siren from the nearby tea factory... in one word its just Serene... Its not like a resort but is definitely for those who are looking for a break from their routine life... A different experience.. Highly recommended..
The bungalow is located inside a 4000 acre tea plantation, the surrounding view from the bungalow is breathtaking. The staff are very hospitable and will cater to any needs you have during your stay. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you could ask for. The area has easy access to most of the tourist spots in wayanad by road. I would definitely recommend this place to any person who would want to spend a few days away from all the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature in its true essence.
