We had great 2night at lchang nang retreat that was a fantastic . The experience of sitting ,sipping your chai as you hear birds tweeting and the absolute serene calmness you feel in the atmosphere, is a welcome contrast to the hustle bustle of everyday city life that we are used to. The toileteries- shampoo, moisturiser, body wash, conditioner etc provided are par excellence and of superior quality.Special mention must be made of Chef Chet rasad who arrange our experience under the star who made our star gazing experiences one of the most memorable , unique ,personalised and unforgettable. Arham was also very kind to show us around the nearby village as well as riverside within the property. He is always pleasant, smiling and energetic and has great ideas for all his guests to create unique and personal memories.
We also went with the Spa, again Vani and Thalani did a great job and we felt very relaxed.
Overall lot of good memories stashed away into my repository of positive experiences and I would love to come here again, this time to just chill and do nothing. Thank you to the entire staff at the resort and wishing them much success.

A most relaxing and comfortable holiday spent in the Lchang Nang Retreat resort. We were here for 2 days. The rooms are most comfortable, luxurious. Each cottage has its own private patio or sit out with a view of the surrounding mountain ranges of Karakoram, Siachen and Trans-himalayan. Although it was the peak of summer, the mountain top of trans-himalayan range was covered with snow. The experience of sitting ,sipping your chai as you hear birds tweeting and the absolute serene calmness you feel in the atmosphere, is a welcome contrast to the hustle bustle of everyday city life that we are used to. The toileteries- shampoo, moisturiser, body wash, conditioner etc provided are par excellence and of superior quality.
The warmth and hospitality shown by the staff namely Sonam, Shyam, Adoll, Rigzing, Abhilash, Jagjivan, Avesh and Bojh amongst others is worth a mention. Their cheerfulness and always smiling faces made us feel welcome at all times. Special mention must be made of Chef Chet and Arham who made our star gazing experiences one of the most memorable , unique ,personalised and unforgettable. Arham was also very kind to show us around the nearby village as well as riverside within the property. He is always pleasant, smiling and energetic and has great ideas for all his guests to create unique and personal memories.

Outstanding place, service and food. Mr. Bodh and chef Chet along with the rest of the staff were great. Each room is actually a small separate cottage and prides itself on being eco friendly with strong focus on solar water heating and electricity generation. Wonderful experience at Lchang Nang Retreat Once we reached Sumur, Nubra Valley, we could get the actual feel of Ladakh. We spent two nights at Lchang Nang Retreat.
The resort is spread in a huge piece of land with natural beauty overlooking the Shyok River and snow capped mountains.
Shabbir helped us with the booking process and offered the best package and was extremely helpful for all our queries and making sure that we were comfortable. The owner Mr.Rogzin was also helpful and interacted with is and made sure we were doing good. We bought two twin rooms and each room has a private sit-out overlooking the mountains and lush green vegetation. There was a natural stream of mountain fresh water flowing from the rear side of our room and its sound was a treat to the ears.
The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and always attended to our queries with a smile.
The common spaces include a barbecue area with a small pond with natural flowing water, an entertainment room with board games and lots of books to read, a movie area with bean bags to relax and laze around and a terrace with star gazing at the night. All these facilities are operational and well maintained. The resort has all the modern amenities but at the same time care has been taken not to disturb nature. All electricity is supplied from solar panels and they also have a green house.
The food was the best part of our stay. Apart for the regular dishes, the had served the local cuisine and had a wide variety of bakery items including croissants, donuts, cookies, cup cakes etc.
Also recommend their curated tours, which we couldn’t try due to paucity of time.
All in all it was the best part of our Ladakh tour and is a must recommended property for your stay in the Nubra Valley.

Very friendly and attentive staff ❤️ Cottages are cozy and fully equipped with everything you may need (cleanliness 10/10) and ( views 11/10) Perfect for families or groups of friends especially their Tranquil Family Cottage. Incredible mountain views all around and proximity to pristine sightseeing attractions. Moreover, you have so many activities like mountain biking, movie under stars, sundowner etc. What we loved the most is the local menu in the restaurant! The soft caramel custard just melts!

The rooms were a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. They were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all modern amenities. Each morning, we woke up to the most awe-inspiring views of the towering peaks and lush green wilderness. a bright sun which made for the best siestas we ever had!
The culinary offerings were quite exquisite and always served with a warm smile on the side. From hearty Ladakhi fare to gourmet international cuisine, the restaurant served a wide range of dishes, crafted with fresh and local ingredients. The scenic backdrop of the mountains CHEF CHET PRASAD made our meals and dining experience even more memorable.
Can’t thank our stars enough for landing on this beautiful property and staying here for 5 long days (which ended in a snap). Every moment felt like an immersive journey through crisp mountain air and a warm embrace of the sun. Thanks to the hosts and the staff of Lchangnang who left no stone unturned in making our experience so warm, fresh, and beautiful!

Starting with ease of booking & conversation with Mr.Rigzin, prompt check in process, neat room tastefully done, super attentive current GM Manan Mistry and his wife, Chef Chet churning 3 delicious meals a day, Shabeer and the rest of the team. This was my first trip to Nubra Valley And I am really pleased that everyone working at this resort made it a memorable one. Be it the receptionist who was quick to allocate us the cottage, or the restaurant staff who were caring enough.
In addition to above location of the resort is away from City and this helps you detox in a best possible way.
Activities like Village walk, yoga and other things like movie under the stars are must to do.
Overall Lchang Nang Retreat is the place which is not to be missed during the trip to the Ladakh.

We just spent a few days at Lchang Nang Retreat ( truly the best resort in Ladakh ) and it was fantastic. The restaurant was fantastic ( especially the Thukpa ) Signature Experiences are incredible. My family loved the picnic under Elms - very private and picturesque. The mountain glacial water is so therapeutic - you get bathe in it & drink uv filtered glacial water. Also, rooms are luxe and cozy with local materials. We also went into the teggar village and explored the old house museum. Hospitality is very top notch! Overall we had a beautiful stay at the resort and would gladly come back.
