Uday Hill Resort is about 7-8 KM's away from main heart of Saputara. It falls in Maharashtra border rather than Gujarat. This has its advantages as well disadvantages. Advantage: No liquor ban, easily accessible good non-veg restaurant (Adviti) nearby. Disadvantages: Need to drive 15-20 minutes to reach attractions. The hotel itself is really good and is value for money. They maintain proper cleanliness all around. The staff, especially the management, is very professional and always ready to help. They ensure your stay remains as comfortable as possible. Rooms are neatly layed out with usually an extra bed, LCD TV, DTH connection, clean bathroom with western styled toilet. All rooms on first floor have big attached gallery with nice view. The hotel also have a pure veg restaurant which also provide Jain food. We found food in restaurant very delicious and well prepared. They even customised our orders as per our specific instructions Overall the resort was very good and we enjoyed our stay there.…

Even after Many request on phone to refund our money,they give various excuses and even after 5 month still we didnt receive our money whole story we had visited Uday hill resort on 30th December 2016 to 1st june 2017 (we came from Mumbai) ,we had booked it online by Paying through RTGS for quick payment but due to some error our bank had transffered the sum of 20,000/- two times,we contacted the person who handles account department and he said no problem we will refund you the amount credited wrongly (20,000) as soon as possible but even after many reminder they give different excuses every time ,even after 5 months they still not done RTGS to our account,so after 5 months we decided to expose their Creditibility to the world and to Aware every one about the fraud this UDAY HILL RESORT doing to their client , and after reading this mite be thier owner will be refund us our amount if they will refund than sure we will write review to thank them again and will delete this post,but chances are rare now talking about resort (Honest review) 1)it has nothing like resort 2) Rooms are Good, spacious 3) No sports space nothing,no garden too,रिसोर्ट नाम कैसे रखा इन्होंने 4) Food chargeble,, quality ढाबा type,forget quality 5) best thing is Rate,if जेब ठंडी हो तो ही बुक कराना, जैब गरम हो (ur budjet is good) to भूल से भी बुक मत करना 6) ये resort गुजरात मे नही हे। MH बॉर्डर पे हे,,यहां से सापुतारा काफी दूर हे। ,हर बार आने जाने पे toll लगता हे hope our money will be refunded and u all dont do such mistake of transfering or else भूल जाना अपने पैसे को अगर पैसे वापस मिले तो इनकी ईमानदारी के लिए review वापस जरूर लिखुँगा …

This place is around 6 kms from saputara city..place has big spacious rooms with clean bathrooms and quiet locality.. Cost is also reasonable..restaurant is not uptodate..better avoid food..hotel has changed from nonveg to veg..and bar is closed. All and all a good budget hotel for short stay..if u stay here u have to pay toll 30 rs to enter into city per day...

The hotel touts itself as being near Saputara. In fact it is 8 km away from Saputara and attracts tipplers from prohibition- hit Gujarat. The property is poorly maintained and has seen better days. The rooms are large and can accomodate 4 beds. Television sets with disconnected cable TV (for non payment), dirty towels, and the near empty restaurant cum bar with high rates add to the embarassment. They do NOT accept credit cards due to poor cellphone/ internet connectivity

Stayed there for weekend with spouse. Room was spacious and clean. Economical deal. Location on Google map is close to Saputara lake but in fact its 8kms from the same. I had my own vehicle and faced no problem. They don't accept card payment.

Location - It's around 8 Kms away from Saputara, Gujarat well inside Maharashtra. Pros - Rooms are spacious Cons Away from Saputara, not a picturesquelocation Towels, bed sheets and pillow covers were dirty. Door locks were faulty hence had to change room thrice.

We 6 couples been here but at the end got disappointed a lot. Other than huge spacious rooms Nothing so excited. No complimentary food included in charges. Eventhough total charges are much more than expected. Room service is not at all good. You have tell them each time to change your towels also. They charge for everything. Water, tea everything.

Yes friends, don't get fooled by the hotel's name. Though it sounds like a great resort, it's just a small hotel without any star category. We booked two rooms this hotel online at the price of 4000₹ per night per room. (Almost 60 US$) You can get a room in any three star hotel at this price in India. Here are the Pros & Cons that I have noticed: Pros: 1. Rooms were big. 2. Tourists from Gujarat will love it as this hotel has it's own bar and also there are many liquor shops near by. 3. The hotel is located in Maharashtra state at almost 5-7 kms away from Saputara city and you have to pass through a beautiful valley which is always full of fog & beautiful view while going to city or coming back to hotel. 4. The hotel has a good parking space. 5. You're not in a dry state if you're staying here. ;) Cons: 1. The washrooms weren't clean. 2. Bed was big & cozy but bedsheets and pillow covers were not washed properly and there were some weird black dots (like fungus) on them. We had to use our own travel pillows. 3. Hot water wasn't running in the pretty cold weather and when asked, they said 'They are out of hot water so they will provide only one bucket of hot water per person'. 4. Someone from us dropped towel on the bathroom floor and it got wet. When we asked for another towel, the waiter refused to give it by saying 'Sorry, we are providing only one towel'. 5. Water was leaking in the lobby area. 6. Intercom/Landline wasn't working. 7. Cable Set top box was keep asking for payment. I won't say it's good or bad. I just wrote about the things I noticed. The property is yet to be fully developed. Gardening and some civil stuff yet to be completed. Rooms are spacious, clean and minimum requirements for a stay are well taken care. Restaurant is also there. However, restaurant ambience is average and we did not taste any food over there.

I book it from makemytrip and add some coupons final i paid 784 rupee online. From that criteria i m happy. But it is 7 km from saputara circle in maharashtra, but i have my own car soo no its not issue. But 25 rupee toll i have to pay per day to enter in saputara. And police checking at border also off our mood. If you want to enjoyed fully at saputara only stay in government hotel toran hill. They charged 2500 rupee per day including dinner or book some other options in gujrat only. If you not want to enjoyed leaker then stay in gujrat only. Uday hills has good big room. I like it
