Booked Premium Lake View Room for 2 nights between 01st OCT - 03rd OCT @ Rs.8000 Per night.
Road to resort is very good with excellent views of Banasura peak.
Resort is located on the banks of Banasura Sagar Lake with excellent views of the lake.
Checkin was fast and smooth.
The Resort 4 Deleuxe Cottages (16 rooms) and 1 Premium Cottage (4 Rooms). Every room has its own privacy and has a private balcony facing the lake.
Premium Cottage was located towards the end of the resort just beside the Swimming pool.
We were Offered Room N0: 110 on the ground floor. The room has very good view of Banasura Sagar lake and it is just beside the swimming pool. Its a Spacium room and can esaily accommodate upto 4 people.There is a foldable Child bed which can easily accommodate 2 adults.Room has both AC and fans. Extra towel and blanket are provided at no extra cost.
Hotel Staff in Recpetion/Restaurant and House Keeping are all very professional and helpful. They always had a gentle smile on their faces which is very pleasing.
Though there are limited options, Taste of Food is very good.Good thing is that deliver food to room. (Recommend to go and have food in the restaurant to enjoy the views of lake)
They serve hot drinking water on request. The most impressive part is that they don't use plastic anywhere in the resort and serve water in glass bottles.
Breakfast : Good Spread with a mix of English and South Indian delicacies.
Lunch & Dinner : Ala Carte.No Buffet.
Must try : Dal Kichdi
Concerns:
1. There are no Sign boards on the roads leading to the resort.
2. The Instat Geyser provided in the washroom boils the water very late and is not sufficient when there are more guests in the room.
3. Swimming pool needs regular maintenance.

Thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and strongly recommend this hotel for families visiting Wayanad.

I would like to thank all the Serenity team to taken care of us at the sad situation. I was the first guest to this resort after the government decision of opening hotels. On arrival all the bags were disinfected and check in process was mostly digital. The staffs are is extremely friendly and maintained all best hygienic practices to keep us safe.

We still have the real feel of hospitality extended by the team Serenity. No words to say the cool and charming feel of the nature, chilness, tasty foods with varieties of Menu in all cuisines etc. I stayed there with my family for 2 nights. The Resort spreaded in a large area and from the rooms you will have an excellent view of Banasura Sagar Dam. Am sure that 2 Nights stay is not enough at all. I still wonder how the resort manager Mr. Unnikrishnan Olanchery is able to meet each and every guests and takes care of them well. We can experience the real feel of extreme professionalism from the resort manager and his team. Hats of you gentleman. Keep up the good works and maitain the good team always with you. Hotel staff is very passionate and committed to give excellent experience to customers.Very courteous and professional staffs who tend to all our needs and is very keen on knowing our feedback if any for improvement. The check in process is seamless and the rooms were very clean and the quality of the bed, toiletries were exceptional. Initially planned for one day stay but ended up extending for one more day.

We celebrated our uncle's 80th birthday amidst the serene and scenic surroundings of the Serenity Resort. It was a wonderful destination for the celebration, with comfortable and clean rooms, charming walking trails, a cute kids play area and also a fantastic swimming pool overlooking a tranquil lake. Our stay was made pleasurable with the ever-smiling and considerate staff of the resort who served us some tasty Kerala and pan-Indian dishes. They also accommodated our requests for organizing the function and even helped put up a beautiful covered stage so that we could enjoy the functions without being bothered by the intermittent rains. Overall a great experience and would absolutely recommend it !

This property is located in a very beautiful spot near the banasura dam. Restaurant service along with food taste was too good. This resort has the most amazing view from every corner. All rooms are facing lake. I'd really like to thank staff who went extra miles to make us feel comfortable. They are polite and helpfull. Infinity pool was unforgettable. I would recommend this to my friends.

After my memorable first visit at this beautiful resort last year, I knew I was coming back with my mom and dad to celebrate their special birthday next year. And the celebration couldn’t have been better!!! The genuine warmth and care, the proactiveness and the passion of the staff is definitely what makes the resort shine ✨ The location of the resort, amidst lush green flora, and to top it, the unhindered view of the Banasura Dam is a view to die for!! Waking up to breathtaking views, breathing in salubrious air, savouring locally produced organic fruits and vegetables, one is instantly transported to a surreal world. Another beauty of the resort is its close proximity to the sightseeing spots in Wayanad. Another highlight of our stay was the ayurvedic massage. The masseuse, a trained professional, took utmost care to make the experience a rejuvenating one. The herbal steam , something I have never experienced in any of the ayurvedic massages, was a perfect conclusion to relax the mind, body and soul. If you are planning to book this place, please think twice!!! I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your vacation needs. There are better properties near by.
I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly in-laws who recently stayed at Serenity Resort in Wayand. Their stay at this resort was nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by overcharging and mistreatment. Avoid bookings on WhatsApp. They lie about rates and overcharge you.
During chekout, my in-laws were shocked to discover that the resort had significantly overcharged them for their stay. The prices quoted during the booking process were vastly different from what they were asked to pay upon check-out. This blatant overcharging left them feeling deceived and taken advantage of.
However, the real nightmare began when they tried to address this issue with the resort staff. Not only were they unhelpful and dismissive, but they also seemed to have no regard for their guests. The staff's treatment of them was nothing short of callous. They refused to acknowledge their concerns and held them hostage by refusing to allow them to check out until they paid the inflated bill. And in the confirmation voucher, the total amount, the amount paid by you and the remaining balance amount have been specified. As soon as we showed the details sent by you to your father-in-law, he paid the balance amount. If we are wrong he does not have to pay. The Road from Bangalore to Wyand and then to Serenity Resort near Banasurasagar lake is absolutely fine. During the flood, some portions of the road were affected, but the roads are reconstructed and fully operational
