A big shout-out to dona - efficient , professional , very helpful at the front desk , nibedita tireless and obliging , samaresh smart and competent . . Debopriya mitra and shantam nair took care of our problems , looked after us like family from day 1 . . Really , the rajbari took our hearts by storm . .
Rooms were upto the mark and cosy. Staff was very helpful, all the food including bengali traditional, Chinese and the tandoori was amazing.Ambience at the “Verandah” bar was fantastic. Live singer at the lawn in the evening needs special mention both for his choice of songs and rendition. We enjoyed the whole stay
The whole experience was wonderful. The ambience, the service, the food, the stay, all of it. We stayed overnight in one of the Dak Bungalows with out pet Shih tzu. The location is what can only be described as a dream. The rajbari itself and the rooms we stayed in had the charm of old calcutta in the best way possible. There are very few places these days that can make us feel so close to nature and history, and The Rajbari did just that. The food is one of the best we've ever had. Not only authentic Bengali food in the zamindari thali which was ofcourse fantastic. But they also offer all kinds of cuisines with a wide range of selection. We particularly enjoyed the pork ribs and the pasta. This was our first time travelling with our pet dog and we had a very comfortable stay. There were multiple other pets in our area and the environment seems very safe and friendly to have dogs around. And last but definitely not the least, the staff and service. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous and the service was always fast and prompt. Special mention to Mr Sumon who went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We'll definitely be recommending it to friends and family. And we'll be back again soon :)…
The highpoint of our stay was the Jomidari Lunch. Authentic Bengali cuisine. Mouthwatering dishes prepared just right. Surprisingly light on the stomach. Charming and rustic background. Maintenance could perhaps be spruced up a bit.
The hotel has exceptional service, better than most of the five stars of the city, the place is beautiful, food is to die for, the staff go out of thief way to ensure u r comfortable and enjoying Urself Special mention for Jayanto our relationship manager, he was extremely courteous, always smiling and ensured we had a wonderful time, recommend it to all
