The new La La Land Resort in Colomb Bay has fifteen beautiful cottages, designed especially with families in mind. Situated in a blissful spot overlooking the pretty bay of Colomb, it is the perfect location between the busier beaches of Palolem and Patnem. La La Land is a sister venture of the stylish Dreamcatcher Resort in Palolem.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Basan and his team catered for our every need. Very relaxed environment with great food and in a perfect position between Patnem and Palolem beaches. I would recommend staying here to family’s or friends looking for a quiet spot but not too far from the busier bars and restaurants. Thank you… Slog Shot!!

I stayed here for 4 nights and had a terrible experience. The staff is rude, incompetent and unprofessional. The receptionist says that rooms can be cleaned only alternative day, no wonder their bathrooms smell foul. Services and quality of room for the price they ask is a bad deal.

We couldn't recommend this place enough. It's beautifully run, the staff are so helpful and friendly, they really go out of their way to help you. Jaron has so much experience and knowledge of Goa, he helped us organise day trips (go and feed the sea eagles- it's incredible) and gave us great tips on where to eat etc. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are enormous. The food is delicious, and the location is perfect. I have nothing but praise for it, it's so pretty, so welcoming

I never have written a bad review but this time I feel compelled so to do. No way any of my friends who visited with me will ever visit this rotten place again! No room service, you have to climb down to the restaurant every time you want even a cup of tea/coffee! Reason? LESS STAFF! Rooms were not cleaned even once during our entire stay of three nights/four days! Reason? LESS STAFF! Changing towels? Was done after 2 days just because we screamed! Absolutely rotten place! Tables in the restaurant were usually cleaned only at about 10 o'clock and not before that. Reason? LESS STAFF! One particular staff in the restaurant had the attitude as if he was obliging us by serving us. Reason? NEW STAFF! We had to repeatedly call for tissue papers on the table at the restaurant. Reason? NEW STAFF! And to top it all, after paying right at the time of check-in for the entire stay of 3 nights/4 days, the Manager came on the 3rd day asking us why we hadn't checked out yet! Reason? As per his SYSTEM, our stay was shown only for 2 nights/3 days! The gentleman simply forgot how much we had paid! Had to show him proof of booking confirmation and then he went away! The air-conditioning was pretty bad, no cooling at all till almost end of the third day. And then they realised that the a/c wasn't working properly because some dried leaves had caught up in the outer unit of the split a/c! I strongly urge all travellers to DESIST from staying at this rat-hole!…

We chose this resort due to it's rave reviews on Trip Advisor. Unfortunately the resort doesn't live up to the hype. On arriving we were shown our hut but there was no water. Once the water was turned on it came out brown. The shower gave my wife an electric shock and didn't work. We had to pay for an upgrade which was better but still very much a jungle style hut with a basic bathroom of sorts. The resort comes with free breakfast which unfortunately was available only if you search for someone to open the kitchen which never happened for us. On the plus side the bed is very large and comfy and the room plus balcony is large. The huts are based in a jungle which good or bad is noisy at night with howling dogs and monkeys. You certainly get the jungle theme in full. The staff are helpful and friendly but I felt they were very out of their depth. Overall I would recommend saving half the money and opting for one of many better serviced beach huts which this area is famed for.…

We've stayed at La La Land for the past two Christmas and New Year holidays and enjoyed ourselves immensely on both occasions. Walter and his team provide a fantastic service. Jo Jo is always on hand with a smile to help with any problems. The food and service provided in the restaurant was always first class. My wife always enjoys and highly recommends the massages and treatments provided by the onsite spa. Being able to watch the monkeys from our verandah some mornings was a joy, you feel surrounded by nature here. We look forward to visiting La La Land again!!!

It fascinated me how these young guys and all people in La La Land Resort worked very hard from early morning til night, to give the best service to customers. They were always smiling, being kind, never stopping, never complaining. A big up for these people. The place was magic and it was like being in a fable. Massage team was amazing , too. Big thanks to Tulasi a wonderful massage - therapist with a huge experience from which I would like to learn from . Nice big rooms and toilets, hot water, proper working WiFi, one of the cleanest resort in the area, I guess.

Food was delicious and the drinks were as good! We didn’t stay there but they showed us the rooms and they looked lovely. If we come back to goa we’d definitely stay here! Strawberry daiquiri was Icy and delicious!

Pros: The location disconnects you to just be yourself and relax. Staff are very prompt and helpful. Service was definitely as per expectations. The pets in the property offer great company. Cons: Breakfast needs variety. Telephones are needed in the room as one needs to walk quiet a distance in the dimly lit path to come to the reception/restaurant area in case of need.
