Horrible. Place owner/manager is so rude and only interested in how much money ne can make off you. Room overlooked rubbish dump, toilet was brocken room door would not shut, tv kept saying no service bill not paid. Pool was dirty and sunbeds chained to wall.
Our second visit to Seaview and just as good as the first. This place is family run and the owners are quirky and take a little getting used to! When you are, they feel like real friends and for us, are part of the reason we love to visit. We had an executive suite overlooking the pool which was spacious, comfortable and clean with all the amenities we could ask for. The bathroom was modern and there was always plenty of hot water. The pool was sparkling clean although there was sometimes a shortage of sunbeds, which didn't bother us as we prefer the beach! There is the Sea View restaurant on the property which is run separately and serves delicious food, perfectly situated to have breakfast. Thank you Eddy and Ednisha, we look forward to visiting again.
were do I start.booked a suite. got a room with 3 tiny drawers a small cupboard no bedsite tables .garden view turned out to be dump with old wash basins, dirty rags old shoes ,plastic sheeting.pool had a film of grease. telly turned of for 3 days because they hadnt paid bill. If u go out before 9am there is nowhere to leave your door key as they dont open any earlier and some times later. The receptionist was rude ,arrogant refused to move us to a better room and wanted more money2000rupees per person per day.Only good thing was the rest of the staff.he really needs the sack.in all my 16 years of visiting Goa I have never met anyone as rude and nasty.
The manager was vile, rude and arrogant (man on reception!). Check-in time was 12.00 so we booked an extra day to save waiting. Arrived at 11.00 kept waiting until 11.45 as man on reception seemed more interested in his phone than arranging for us to be taken to our room. Not a good start So, we check in thinking we get room on shown on hotel website but No! Very old tatty n smelly. Cracks in plaster and stains on upholstery (see pictures) Owner super rude tries to charge extra a night for room in picture We had looked at the pictures on the web and purchased an “Executive Suit”. When we were shown to our room it was at the back of the hotel overlooking a wasteland/tip. We went back to reception and asked for another room at front of hotel. The manager said “you have got the room you paid for if you don’t like it go back to ebookers. If you want better room You Pay Me More” felt like a scam. I explained that the room we had paid for was the most expensive on ebookers web site as well as the hotels own web site, he just said again “you pay more or go somewhere else” felt a bit like a scam. The toilet did not work for 5 days and my wife was unable to open the room door for 6 days as it had dropped on the hinges. We were offered another room overlooking the tip, I told reception “not acceptable” TV was off for 3 days due to account in arrears, (see picture) Hotel information says that the reception is opened 24 hrs it was not, on 4 occasions it was closed at 8.45am so could not leave our key for room cleaning. On one occasion came back from beach at 4.45 only to find that our room had not been cleaned. Vile manager said “too many rooms to clean we do it tonight” NOT ACCEPTABLE When we arrived, the pool was very cloudy in desperate need of chlorine. Only 4 sunbeds, 2 faulty and all chained to fence to stop any movement. The hotel has dogs and, on many occasions,, there was dog poo all over the walkway to reception. We have been visiting Goa for over 16 years and can positively state that this is the worst experience we have ever encountered. If the person on reception is the manager he needs sacking, if he is the owner he should be out of business.…
So we check in thinking we get room on website but No! Very old tatty n smelly. Owner super rude tries to charge is and extra 2000 a night for room in picture that we booked but says its cheapest room crazy people so we dont stagger some manners stop lying online and treat people paying you with a bit of respect dont go here very bad place n people

Oasis in Patnem, beautiful pool and large clean rooms with huge comfy beds. Fab location with walk to the beach through a little market with beauty shops for cheap pedicures etc and small coffee bars n restaurants on the beach. Stunning beach, clean, boat trips, dolphins, take a tuk tuk anywhere for a pound! Tunnel n bridge for all day sun beds, gin n tonics and lunch - Seaview resort we will be back! Thank you to the owners, the lovely Gonsalves family
We had eaten a few times, over a few years, at the Seaview Restaurant, but had never bothered to peek beyond the hedge until 2018. What a surprise, a hidden gem! We returned the next day so that Eddie, one of the family owners, could show us the rooms. We were hooked. We chose an "2 x executive suites" and 1 x deluxe double for us and our friends for our stay in 2019. It was a very good choice. Executive Suite is really just a title as there is just one room, however it is very large with an excellent shower room, lovely big balcony overlooking the swimming pool and worktop area with fridge under for supplied kettle. Executive might suggest a supply of coffee, tea, milk, sugar and daily water but this is not the case so don't forget to take your own. The double deluxe was a smaller room with large balcony, nice shower room and overlooking the pool, however, a kettle is not provided but there is a fridge. The housekeeping was efficient and everywhere was lovely and clean. The owners, the property is family run, were all helpful and positively charming. We hope they have space for us in 2020!!!…
We booked 3 nights (paid in advance) on booking.com, arrived as expected/discussed at 23:30 with 2 asleep children. No one was expecting us and seemed annoyed that we had disturbed them. After talking amongst themselves for 15 minutes ignoring us completely they said we weren't allowed to stay as we had 2 children (4yo & 6months) and the booking said only 1. After pointing out that we had booked for 2 children and also that their policy says all children under 6yo stay free if no extra bedding is required, we were scoffed at and told it's not possible, they have a procedure and we should leave. I repeatedly asked what extra cost they wanted and to resolve it in the morning as now the children had been woken and were very tired. After 45 minutes of trying to enter the property I said "for f*cks sake" and that was it, they told us they didn't care and it was our problem, so at midnight with our bags and 2 exhausted children we left to find somewhere else to stay. 2 weeks later and we have not been refunded or had implication that that will happen.…
My wife and I spent 9 nights here and loved every minute! We stayed in an executive room which was beautiful and spotlessly clean and well maintained. Amazing shower that gave constant fast running hot water. Beautiful pool and close enough for a short walk to the beach. Chamber maids and restaurant staff always met you with a smile. We loved our stay and our only small complaint was the management could learn from their staff and smile more! If they smiled I would have given them 5 stars! We will be staying at Seaview Resort next time we are in Patnem.
