Its ok if you are with your family or with a very small group. If you want to organize marriage in the Haveli, then things are not that rosy. The owners will sit on your head and will ask for 100% money even before checking in. They will start arm twisting and charge exorbitant amount for any additional service and their attitude towards the customer is simply bizarre.

Pl get all things clarified before you make any big deal with the management.

Stunningly renovated traditional Haveli.
Beauty is around every corner in this very clean, traditional hotel.
The bedrooms have the most ornate fixtures and fittings, that wouldn’t look out of place in a high end antique store.
The staff are all very welcoming and obliging.
The buffet served in the evening is lovely local fayre. There is also quite an extensive a la carte menu to choose from.
I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful hotel.

You cannot rate this hotel like all the others
First of all, it is a historic residence renovated with attention and care
Obviously the rooms as a whole are to be evaluated with an eye to the past
The furnishings deliberately recall times gone by
There are few services, almost none, even the Wifi only works in the central common part
The bathroom is small and not beautiful but forced into rooms not designed for this purpose
The internal restaurant is perhaps the biggest flaw even if the quality wasn't bad
The breakfast was really poor
Overall, however, an experience that can only be had here

We stayed for one night in the newer house next door, which had a beautiful garden with a pool.
Both the bathroom and the bedroom were clean and tidy.
Unfortunately, WiFi only works downstairs in the lobby and by the pool.
We had dinner and breakfast in the main house, which has been beautifully restored; both meals were delicious.
All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The place is very beautiful and quite rustic, we did not have any particular problems , the welcome and staff are available . There were few people present which was pleasant to enjoy the place.
Meal side more mixed but it remains good, catch tourist for the puppet show after the meal but we were not forced to watch

The location : Abt 4‐5 km from the railway station in the heart of Nawalgarh. Hop‐on to the interesting looking auto rickshaws from station to Bawri gate. Grand Haveli is 2mins from Bawri gate.

The place : Grand Haveli has two buildings seperated by 12ft road. The old one is proper Haveli which has been beautifully restored. The new one has been made to resemble a Haveli.
Old one called Heritage has different type of rooms whereas new one has more or less same type rooms.
We stayed in Heritage haveli. The decor has beautiful Shekhawati fresco. The main door itself is majestic.

The room : We stayed in a deluxe room which had rather unusual metal staircase to a small sitout area in the room. The bathroom had a bath tub. Room had a old CRT TV but couldnt find any dth connection. I feel TV is an odd fit and unnessesary item in such properties.

The food : We had coffee and pakoda in the evening and dinner at night. Taste was good.

The staff : The front desk and property manager were helpful and infact introduced us to the artist who was working on restoration since we showed interest in the art.

The hotel has charm. The old rooms have been excellently restored. The room doors are old and have padlocks. In winter and summer the hotel is cold because of the old walls, but there are enough blankets and fan heaters. Some of the door frames are very low, but the atmosphere is what counts here. As expected, the hotel is not quite up to German standards. The furnishings are older but not broken. The food (breakfast/dinner/buffet) was very good. You can't go wrong here if you don't expect a high standard.

This is a stunningly beautiful old haveli lovingly maintained and in a great location. It's a very short and delightful walk to the Podar Haveli museum, which is a "don't miss" if you've come to see examples of Shekhawati decorative arts. Service here was attentive and kind. I had no trouble with hot water or with wi-fi access from my room, though the second courtyard has more comfortable furniture and an elegant ambience for tending to things like email. I felt very lucky to be able to spend a day admiring the old havelis of Mandawa and Nawalgarh and then to get to stay in one. I admire the hard-working staff and gentlemen of the front desk who make this evocative place a truly welcoming and memorable experience.

Grand haveli resort is a beautifull resort haveli turned hotel. As someone who have no prior experience of visiting any haveli, was mesmerized by the structure which has some of the very painting all over the walls.
We visited mandawa for a day but i found the hotel haveli more beautiful than havelis in mandawa.
The resort has two building, one which is original haveli and other is newly constructed building in haveli pattern. If you want to experience the old world charm then choose the old building, but the new building adds comfort and modernity. We stayed in the new building. The rooms were large and traditionally decorated.
The food was simple, tasty and home like.
Even though the resort was short of staff, we were never felt we have to wait for any service like tea or coffee. Special mention to manager Mahinder who was very polite and helpful.
Overall, a nice place for a relaxed vacation in nawalgarh.

During a 10 day your of Rajasthan, this was our first overnight, and probably the worst hotel. Beautiful building, and I understand very rural, but lacked amenities. Room was basic, large and clean, but no Wi-Fi ( you had to sit in reception). The thinnest pillows I have ever seen and only 1 each. Luckily we were really tired so slept ok. The dining is across the road, which is fine, but there were large your parties in and as we were only 2 got ignored. Good was usual buffett, but probably the worst one we had, with very little choice. Staff disinterested as too busy with the large parties. Breakfast ok, but the rudest man at reception we encountered in India, which was unusual as everyone is so friendly. Would not recommend this as a place to stay.
