I just came back from my 2 days/1 night trip at Roop Niwas Kothi. We drove from Jaipur to Nawalgarh to take a relaxing break from the hustle bustle of the city life which is just 2.5 hours away. As soon as we entered the property, we were mesmerised by the peace it offered. There’s plenty of space for parking your vehicle, we parked our car and rushed inside the property. With lush green trees, pretty flowers and lovely birds, we realised we did come to the right place for a calming experience. We were welcomed by Mr. Surendra who is the manager of the hotel. He was extremely nice and helpful during our entire stay. We were served with some welcome drinks and decided to relax a bit in our super comfy rooms. For lunch, we dined at their restaurant and the food was commendable. We tried the Veg. Thali along with Egg Curry, Mutton Curry and lehsun ki chutney(which was so extraordinary that we got it packed for our home). In the evening, Mr. Surendra gave us a tour of the entire property and educated us on the history of the family and the property. Our property tour ended at the much awaited part of our day - near the horse stables. We sat in the garden and enjoyed HiTea watching horses galloping and drinking water. We got to meet some of their horses like Badshah, Rangeela, Albela and a few others. Badshah Pasand is their oldest horse who is over 30 years old. After our hi-tea at the stables, we went for a quick dip in the swimming pool and later for dinner, we were greeted with more delicious food! The next morning, before our check-out, we had a quick and lavish breakfast of our choice - Samosas, Eggs and Fruits and we drove back to Jaipur happily. Roop Niwas Kothi is full of positive vibes. The hospitality will leave you feeling satisfied and you’ll also end up making some friends there like I did with a black cat, their horses and loads of peacocks!…
We visited Nawalgarh as part of offbeat family road trip and stayed at Roop Niwas Kothi for 2 days . It is a oasis among desert . Rooms , beds and Shower all are top notch . What sets this property apart is the hospitality of the owner and the staff . The feeling will be as if you are visiting some Royal friends of yours who will go all out to make Tuttle holiday a memorable one . Another unique aspect is in-house stables with 55 horses and an organic farm and dairy attached . Kudos to Surinder and the caretakers ( Jeetu and all ) who went out of their way to treat us like royalty.
Spent two nights - very comfortable- good facilities in characterful property - decent food suitable choices for those unable to tolerate high chili levels. We were given a personal tour of the stables and witnessed the evening return of the horses - wonderful sight.
Words cannot describe the bliss full stay at the Roop Niwas Kothi in Nawalgarh, Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Thank you to Ms Jogeshwari Singh and her father , my family enjoyed the visit to Roop Niwas Kothi. Staying at the luxury room, enjoying the delicious delectable cuisine, what appealed to us was that this is a hotel beyond the lobby with so many activities in and around the heritage property. The morning started with an exhilarating walk to the farms owned by the family nearby, picking of vegetables and meeting with the workers on the farm. Late afternoon we had a jeep ride to the other farm through the villages tracks was exciting and ending the day tea/coffee served with sandwiches and local samosas at sunset and the highlight of the stay was watching the spectacle of horses galloping into their stables in the evening was indeed a sight to behold. If travelling to Nawalgarh, stay at the Roop Niwas Kothi and do not miss the spectacle of visiting the Horse stable when the horses return to their stable.…
Roop Niwas Kothi is owned and managed by the royals of Nawalgarh. They are passionate about the resort and it shows in how it is appointed and how the staff behaves. They have 45 fine Marwari horses in the stable and a farm nearby. The food and service is great. The rooms are big and have a 'bunglow' charm. It is a great getaway of 1-2 nights from Delhi.
