Ruud & Gerda were amazing hosts, we had the whole place to ourselves some nights. Watching the sunsets by the pool overlooking the valley. We had our own rustic outdoor kitchen attached to our room w/ a fridge so we could store cake, cheese and bread form the local markets - handy on Sundays when nothing nearby was open! Bathrooms,...

Ruud & Gerda our hosts are a charming Dutch couple who recently took over Le Bourdiel earlier this year. We received a wonderful welcome, as did Dexter our Border Collie, who had a terrific time running around with their younger rescue dog Naper (not sure of the spelling!), whilst their older rescue dog Toopie (again not sure of the spelling)...

My husband and I spent two comfortable nights and enjoyed a lovely day at Le Bourdiel. The setting is perfect and the Cottage was very comfortable and spacious for just a couple. The dogs were very friendly and Lucette chatted to us soon after our arrival. We had a perfect breakfast both days eaten on our terrace. An English newspaper...

Thanks Lucette and Stef for your help and for making us feel so welcome! Breathtaking views in such a beautiful, quiet location within 15 to 60 min from stunning medieval villages. Ideal for disconnecting, total relax. Spa, pool and massages are a bonus, and dinner a must! Stef is a qualified chef and his dinners are amazing! Guests have freedom,...

We booked this place online because we want peace and tranquillity. It didn't let us down. The amazing and tastefully decorated accommodation is divided up to give each room its own private outside area, and the views of the surrounding countryside are amazing. The food was out of this world - Stefaan the Chef amazed us with his culinary skills,...

We were a guest for a week in this charming B&B in the French Department Lot & Garonne. The B&B is located at the top of a hill overlooking fields with sunflowers and provides an silent, breathtaking view. The backdraw from this is that it takes you about 20-30 minutes to reach one of the multiple sites you can visit....

“All the rooms are excellent. There is a large guest house that sleeps loads and has its own kitchen. Two other large suites (one super-private) and a single en-suite room. Sound is minimum as the walls are thick stone barn walls.”
