Sunday lunch on a grey day.Really good food served by charming people. Tasty fish starters......good duck main. Perfectly cooked fish...and local vegetables..not something you see often in Normandy...great puds..this is a good traditional Normandy restaurant doing food well.We will go back.

Six of us had the most enjoyable evening here, where we were warmly greeted by the owners. We had the most delicious dinner, with friendly staff, in a good sized dining room. None of us was disappointed with our choices and we were unanimous in agreeing that we would return to this restaurant when we are next near St Vaast....

Visited the restaurant for dinner with friends, whilst staying in a nearby gite. The owner and his wife are very friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent but not intrusive. We all had a fixed price meal, two of us selecting the cheaper option, and two the dearer. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our choices - beautifully presented, delicious...

We were informed on arrival that the restaurant would not be open as advertised on that evening. An apology and explanation would have been nice. The room was small but clean & comfortable & the walk-in shower much appreciated. Breakfast was fine.

Reville is a charming village, which we generally visit once a year, staying at a nearby chambre d'hote. As it was full, we though we'd try this hotel. The reviews of the accommodation and cuisine seemed positive, the price was reasonable and its three star rating seemed to bode well. What we got was a small, dark and airless room...

Having visited Normandie many times to celebrate the D - Day anniversaries , I can safely say that this was one of the best trips ever. Mainly down to the hospitality shown towards my friend and I by the proprietors and staff of this quiet but quaint hotel. The food was excellent especially the locally sourced sea food dishes ,...

This is a great place to stay if you are arriving late into Cherbourg or early out as it is only a 20 minute drive. It's a rural French hotel so the rooms are basic but in our case very spacious, very clean and the staff were extremely welcoming particularly as we arrived on a late ferry ready to start...

As a family we have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and it has always been basic, but adequate. However we have not stayed or eaten there since it has been refurbished. We were staying nearby recently and decided to eat in the restaurant and we found it to be a huge improvement. The menu was interesting...

“My first-floor room, facing the street, was comfortable and well-appointed. There was some traffic noise from 8am-9.30 am, but with the shutter down and the window closed (it was winter) this was not overly obtrusive. Summer visitors may be well-advised to request a room at the rear of the hotel. None of the rooms have scenic views but this is more than outweighed by the very reasonable room rates.”
