We spent a weekend here with a few families to get away from the stress of city life and enjoy nature. The staff were very helpful and followed all post-lockdown precautions. We were scanned upon arrival and everyone was sanitized. The staff were always sanitizing the property and all were properly wearing masks at all times. The amenities are endless and well maintained. Food was delicious!
Rooms were oversized, something you don’t see very often in heritage properties. It was a great experience. Lots of local spots to visit if you drive within 15 mins of the property. A much needed weekend of RNR. Special thanks to all of the staff! I highly recommend you visit the resort with your friends and family.

Been to a very calm and peaceful place near Vadodara. Reaching Vananchal, Darbargarh was a great journey. We had stayed there for 2N/3D and really had a great time. All the staff members at the resort were very courteous and all the requirements taken care of in a very pleasant manner. We were lucky that the owner of the resort, Mr. Ravi Tripathi was present when were there, He guided us to nearby sight seeing locations - Sukhi River, Makhniya Parvat for rock climbing, Kevdi eco-camp site. Not only kids but adults too enjoyed the adventure sports activities there. Its a great place for relaxation - very calm and peaceful away from hustle & bustle of Vadodara. Definitely looking forward to visit again.

The trip was very enjoyable. Staff was good as our family members. The food was really good & delicious. It's a 120 years old haveli with huge rooms, this used to be a house of the royals of Parmar family. It is very well maintained place, the garden around is lush green. There are some adventure sports available. It's a good respite place. Sweeming pool is very big and clean. The Manager Mr. Haribhai is good person and give us royal Tritment. It was a wonderful experience. All the precautions and safety measures were taken. Body temperature checkup and the whole resort was sanitised properly. All the staff members were were cooperative. And the activities were done with safety measures. Food at the resort was very tasty and delicious. Overall it was a very good experience. Very relaxing and peaceful. Looking forward to more such trips in future.

So nice to be there.. I have visited so many heritage proprietary but vananchal is the bestes nice room.. Places for sightseeing and so much places for activities and walking.... Wide swimming pool really had a great fun

We a group of 8 people went for night stay at vananchal . We had a great fun over there the rooms were clean and they used to sanitize room frequently. The food was very good. Thermal check was done at entrance and also symptoms were checked. Can rely on the resort authorities for assurity to good sanitization. Every corner of resort was being properly sanitized.. loved the experience at resort and would look forward to visit it again very soon.😊😊😊

We have been to Kadval two times, one being many years ago when the property had just started having guests and second time in October 2019 after a this resort came into the management of vananchal.
This time I was visiting with my family and I would not recommend anyone to go there with theirs. We had a terrible experience with many power outages (which is not the hotels fault), but there was no response or responsibility from the hotels end to compensate us for our service damages. Many laptops in charging went bad, the AC was not working all night. Despite all of this, the hotel said that they wouldn’t care to rectify this as this is not that problem. In my personal opinion if you have such an issue in the service industry, I would expect the hotel to take some responsibility for an event like this. Definitely not recommended.
