This really was a bargain luxury stay. We got a last minute deal for 72€ on a Friday night and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We would have stayed an extra night but they were booked out for a wedding party. We had room 8 - large and well appointed with quality toiletries, a large bathroom and comfortable...

The hotel was in a very quiet setting, next to huge greenhouses although this did not detract from the beauty of the chateau. The staff were friendly and the only problem we had during our stay was the wifi was not very easily accessible.

A two night stay in this small modernised Chateau which was formerly a Priory. Immaculately clean and bright there is a heated pool and a games room. Breakfast was very French but was first class in every way. Visit the Mercier Cave where you can get an excellent whiet for less than £4 and a brilliant white fizzy that's as...

This place is sublime. We chanced upon it via an online hotel booking site and decided it looked good and we were certainly proved right. It is in a relatively un touristy area, probably too far from La Rochelle but only 15 minutes from the motorway. We were the only people staying on our first night and there is no...

We stayed here for 3 nights mid July when it was scorching hot. We were staying in the old pigeon loft and it was amazing. It had 3 large windows with views to 3 different sides and it was lovely and cool. The setting, next to its own vineyard, was so quiet and peaceful. The staff were amazing and for...

This is a beautiful chateau maintained to an excellent standard. The attention to detail was amazing, the furniture, fittings and linen were wonderful. Our "room" consisted of a sitting room, large bedroom and very large marbled bathroom. It is situated in a vineyard which we could see from our room and being out in the countryside it was very quiet and...

We visited the chateau with our two very young children for four nights - it was bliss. We had a room in the turret so it was very warm but we managed ok. The chateau is lovely to look at and so quiet you can hear a pin drop, but that didn't seem to matter as it was so warm...

Somewhere special if you are looking for comfort and privacy. We loved this place. Although a little secluded, we could not fault it in any way. Attention to detail, high standard of cleanliness, amazing staff, and air conditioning! Very hot while we visited this area. Situated in a working vineyard, and close by, La Cave for wine tasting and purchases.
