Visited the New Inn as a group of 7 .As soon as we arrived, which incidentally was 1 hour before we were due to eat, we were asked if we would could order our food within the next 15 minutes as the hotel was very busy. We had planned on having a couple of drinks before our meal, but agreed...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for one night using a gift voucher I had for Christmas, the place was in a lovely quaint village with a beautiful running stream through it. We went to the reception when we arrived and we were told check in was at 3pm. Lovely annex style room which was very spacious. The wet room...

We have visited the New Inn several times whilst in the area. We have only ever had a few drinks in the summer and the food and menu has always looked appealing. We booked a table on Saturday evening for 7:30pm. We arrived in very good time almost one hour early to have a few drinks at the bar beforehand....

We arrived at 6 ish hoping to have a couple of drinks before eating and had booked a table for 7.30pm.We were told it was so busy that we should order food early and eat before our booked time. The staff were...

Booked Friday and Saturday Night as a short break. Food on the first night was very good but a little salty for our tastes, soup of the day was exceptionally tasty. On the second night I had the sea food chowder as a starter which was excellent, packed with sea related goodies. As a main course we both went for...

This is an 18th century coaching Inn in a lovely old Dales village, very nicely refurbished by its Australian owners. It's still a working pub as well as a restaurant and hotel, with Timothy Taylor's Landlord on tap when we were there. On a Secret Escapes two night package, it's also very good value. The landlord is very welcoming and...

Booked an executive room, which was very comfortable with a lovely view of the river. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The food and drink although overpriced was very good and the two barmaids who doubled up as waitress were excellent. Just a couple of gripes, the heating in the bedroom did not come on until 3 30pm, which in...

Booked at the New In with another couple for short break. Was a little unsure after reading some reviews but have to say our stay was very enjoyable. Yes the food and drinks may seem a little over priced but you have to remember this place is very rural. Great pint of Timothy Taylor Great food - would like to...
