I stayed with my family for 3 nights in this beautiful and luxurious houseboat of 3 rooms with a living room ,dining room , balcony to see the snowclad mountains and sunset and sunrise . This houseboat was in serene Nigeen lake with a beautiful view of Hari Parbat and mountains
There was a personal care taker whom we called Khan baba who took care of everything from food to cleanliness to electric blankets and transfers by shikara for sightseeing to the main road.
There was free wifi , rooms were spacious and very well decorated in typically kashmiri style The bathrooms had bathtubs and hot water There was a small garden also outside
You cannot get the true feel of Kashmir without stay in a houseboat
Mr Arshad Wangnoo took special care of each and everything and made us feel very comfortable Mr Mohammed Wangnoo also greeted the whole family very warmly
I would love to visit them again and stay in houseboat only

Away from the hustle and bustle of busy Dal Lake this is situated in the calmer Nigeen (pronounced Negeen) Lake (it's still connected to Dal Lake though through a small channel). Each houseboat is basically a suite with a bedroom, living, dining room, and kitchen. We got the smallest one, but it was quite large for a couple. The bedroom had a permanent gas-based heater which was adequate for the December cold. Each houseboats had intricate and unique woodwork. Meals were provided on request (breakfast was complimentary) and was very nice Kashmiri homemade stuff. The staff, including the owner were very courteous and friendly. Houseboat is located next to a very residential and safe neighbourhood - we walked around till 10 in the night without any trouble (got a lift back to the hotel from a friendly local as well!). The HariParbat fort is quite close by and a must visit there for fantastic views of Srinagar.

The host MR ARSHID is a friendly person and would help you out in any ways he can. The heritage look and the interiors was awesome. The service The food The hospitality was something amazing. Worth visiting it don't get afraid after seeing the peace out there it's worth experiencing.

The houseboat is really beautiful we had a amazing experience staying at this houseboat located in beautiful Nigeen lake. This houseboat is run by friendly, humble host Arshid who takes care of everything. The boat interior was really good and our bedding, bathtub and toilet facility was clean. The service was great, and food was lush!! really enjoyed staying here.

The houseboat stay was really great with excellent location (it's in nigeen lake and not dal lake, dal lake houseboats feel cluttered as there are too many). The ambience was too good and we had great home cooked food(dinner and breakfast). The owner and staff was always ready to help, he infact took us to do some last minute shopping. We thought houseboat stay is just for an experience and had booked another hotel for previous day and we regret the decision and should have stayed at triumph all nights at Srinagar. There are 2 routes to reach triumph, one by road (slightly confusing) and second using shikara (easy, time saving and complimentary, takes 5 mins). Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend triumph houseboats to stay at Srinagar.

Hi Friends, I stayed in Triumph houseboats from 26th March to 30th March with my wife and my 7 year old kid. The owners are very nice people who go out of the way to help meet your needs. However, I didn't like few things initially like there are bathubs but only showers can be used. Also, when the power goes down, the backup seems insufficient. Nevertheless, they provided us very lovely meals, tea etc and gave us very good suggestion for our trip. Infact on the last day the owner, Arshad, took us in his personal car to buy a hand baggae and get the printout of my boarding passes. Also, when we were shifted to another houseboat which didn't have wifi, he gave us his personal jiofi dongle to provide webservices. I have never seen such personal touch in any hotels I have stayed before. We were like their family and their was a connection which can't be described in words. I thank them for the lovely time we spent together. Will be back for more.

it was one of the best stays i have had in Kashmir. Excellent boat house, very well maintained. Great friendly staff, my request for food was taken care of. My husband and I spent two nights at triumph houseboat and they gave us single room houseboat with all the amenities and privacy. Highly recommendable to couples and family and groups as well. The views of the nigeen lake is soothing and calming. Their Hospitality were awesome. Had a very amazing experience in Nigeen lake TRIUMPH houseboat.

The houseboat is so beautiful that can't be described in words. It's all vintage. Located at a beautiful serene location at Nigeen lake. The owner and caretaker of the boat both are really humble. Mudasir the caretaker of the boat was very friendly and the food cooked by him was so delicious. My friend had motion sickness in the morning and he arranged limca for her in early morning which is usually not possible but he did it for us. I wish I could give 10 stars to them. Hope to visit soon and this time for atleast 3-4 days 😇 Keep up the good work triumph houseboats ❤️

We stayed for a night in houseboat. The staff and boat owner gave a very warm reception and made us feel at home. It's safe and comfortable. The food was very much like a food at home and they arranged a candle light dinner for us. The best part is quite and peaceful view of nigeen lake outside of the boat rather than busty dal lake. So it's worth a visit and not to be missed. And shikara ride was exceptionally awesome.

Triumph Houseboat gave us some superb memories to carry home. The stay was super comfortable. Arshad made sure to be there for every little thing we wanted. The location was beautiful, the condition of the 50 year old houseboat is amazing!! Although there were no electric blankets for safety reasons, the room heater worked well. Thank you for being a great host!!
