Recipe for an excellent time: terrific hosts, an 18th century chateau, lovely gardens, private vineyard, and location, location, location. We stayed here one year ago. Apologies for the late review Conny. What more can be added to these terrific reviews? We have visited twice. Once for a wedding in 2005 and then again in 2015. Our most recent stay was... More

We stayed at Chateau Talaud with a group of friends on an antique shopping trip and exploration of Provence. The property is beautiful, each room is unique, spacious and comfortable and there are several cottages apart from the main house that have a living area, kitchen/dining room and bedroom with a separate bathroom. The proprietors, Connie and Heim are gracious,... More

Connie and Hein are wonderful hosts at their lovely chateau located outside Loriol du Comtat. Their estate includes a working vineyard producing a very respectable red. If you can only stay a couple of nights, stay in the main chateau otherwise make this your base for 1-2 weeks in Provence by staying in their cottages. We had the L'Orangerie Appartment,... More

We spent five nights at this restored 18th century hunting lodge. The location is ideal for day trips to explore the Provence. You enter through a lane of trees and then see the Chateau in the middle of the vineyard (they make their own wine). Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, great bathrooms and tastefully decorated. Every room is different.... More

We stayed 5 nights with our 3 young adult children/ friend in petite Talaud and wished we could have stayed longer but had to fly home. The house and grounds are beautiful and luxurious but kept in period. We had such a challenge to find the place arriving late at night - the GPS wasn't helpful and it's not at... More

Conny and Hein are the perfect hosts. The first time I stayed in chateau was when they first opened, and had come back over the years. Only regret is I did go back more often. It is a very warm homey property. The Talaud Apartment and the Red Room are my favourite at the Chateau. Just go try it once,... More
