Tucked away in Anse Marcel. If you are looking for a quiet time, this is the place for you. We were told not to feed the iguanas. No one said anything about the chickens, cats or snails that are in abundance. While this is off the beaten path, Les Cottages gave us a different experience of SXM that we have...

I struggled with the overall rating on this property because when I first arrived, I was not impressed. But it grew on me. We booked our stay here using a timeshare swap. Based on other reviews I knew it was dated. We knew we weren't going to spend much time there, and it is a 10 min drive to Orient...

We went to Les Cottages de Lonvilliers on a timeshare trade and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Checking in was easy, our host was very congenial, and we found the unit (No. 6 in the upper building) to be just what we needed. Yes, as others have said, some of the furnishings are dated and this particular unit hasn't been renovated...

Staying here for a week on a timeshare trade. We have a nice view from our balcony but the unit needs to be updated...furniture, linens, tvs. We are close to the beach but a harrowing drive from most places on the island!! Want to acknowledge that we we were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom at no charge...

it is a nice location with a walk to the beach, but you need a car because it is isolated. If you like a place where no one bothers you this is it. There is no staff around hardly and they only cleaned our room once in the week we were there. The cottages are out dated but clean however...

Looking for charm, clean & comfortable, quiet, convenient, and easy on your budget? This great little French carib oasis is the ticket! You will definitely need a car to get from airport to Anse Marcel and around the island. We began going to SXM and stayed there in 2006 and became timeshare owners in 2008! No pool...no worries,,,DJ has made...

I've been going to St. Martin since the mid-1980s and just managed to stay at this little friendly timeshare for the first time in May 2013. There are two multi-unit buildings on the side of a hill overlooking the bay where the Radisson Blu is. The units are two-level townhouse style. Here are a couple of links: http://www.cottagesdelonvilliers.net/ and http://www.west-indies-online.com/Cottages-de-Lonvilliers/default.html...

My husband and I travel to St. Martin at least twice per year and sometimes I trade my timeshare week, banked through RCI, for the Cottages De Lonvilliers at Anse Marcel. This is a small resort, no pool or other activities, but the accommodations are spacious and comfortable. There is a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, and living area with...
