Place was very cute, quite tucked away in the mountains of Priorat. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. Ours had its own private walled-in patio with a table, chairs, and wine glasses. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast quite good. They provided a wine opener and a hair drier at our request. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommended.

We've been last weekend in Mas Ardèvol and it's been really great. Not only because the place is magical, quiet and isolated. Mainly because the owners are fantastic people, very kind and helpful. The rooms outside are like little apartments, with a unique view on the valley. And breakfast is generous and most of the products are homemade, like the...

What a discovery, both of the spectacular landscape of the Priorat region, the little village of Porrera, the quality of the wines but but above all, and the icing on the cake - the charming hospitality, comfortable room and attention to every detail of our hostess Gemma. Mas Ardevol is situated off the beaten track, some 5 kms from Porrera,...

Stayed at Mas Ardevol 2 nights while touring wineries in Priorat. A well located hotel for touring Priorat. Nice accommodations at a fair price. Gemma, the manager, and her husband Germinal are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Dinners, prepared by Gemma, are simple and delicious. If you like a bed and breakfast type of accommodation, this hotel...

Yes! Our 4 days in Priorat were wonderful thanks to all the personal care and attention we received from Gemma and Germinal. The spacious well appointed room was well up to temperature when we arrived thanks to its blazing wood stove. The peace, comfortable bed, instant hot water, soft towels and amazing views were all particularly notable We can only...

My wife booked us a weekend here as a base for touring the Priorat and Montsant for wines. It's quite remote, deep in the hills of the region, away from civilization. We has one of the 3 rooms in the outbuilding. They are enormous, with a sofa bed, stove, tv and a fridge. I can imagine very cozy in winter,...

It won't be easy to find an equivalent in el Priorato: Comfortable, welcoming, clean and very attractive casa rural in this beautiful nook of Spain. All four of us felt at home, and wished we had booked one more night. By coincidence, it was a 20-minute walk to the only bodega we'd booked to visit (another good find): Ferrer i...

A beautiful rural house around 4km out of town amongst the hills and vines of Priorat. Breakfast was included and was fit for a king! We enjoyed dinner as well which saved us having to head into town and drive back after dark. Was just like dropping into mums for a real home cooked meal. Make sure to pre-book and...

A really wonderful experience, we agree with all of the previous comments. Beautiful setting, friendly and welcoming owners, amazing breakfast. You really feel immersed in El Priorat. The location is perfect for visiting the whole area and it's bodegas. I loved all of the beautiful decorative touches and the care with which all of the old buildings have been restored....

We were expecting a real treat from this place because of the price and reviews. The house is lovely and very tastefully decorated, our room was warm and cosy with a sofa and small desk, but too near the dining-room and kitchen for noise and smells. The shower room was nice but no hand soap or shampoo were provided (only...

“We stayed in the "Corral" room, and it was lovely to have a private terrace. It's good to bear in mind that it is the only room downstairs in the main house, right next to the reception. Neither the typical guests nor the owners are at all noisy, but if there is someone arriving or passing through you do hear their conversations. If that's the sort of thing that may bother you, maybe choose a room upstairs or one of the suites in the separate building.”
