Dropped on this hotel driving from France. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Asked for a room with bath and shower for one night. Room overlooked the terrace with the busy by-pass road immediately below. We went to explore the local area and returned for dinner. We had not booked but no problems. The staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful....

We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with a dog. There was no charge and she was allowed in the restaurant with us which is so much better then having to leave her in a strange hotel room. Our room was large, very clean, with a lovely seaview from the balcony,a superb en-suite and had air con and a fridge. We found the staff...

Didn't choose the hotel myself but must say it's the worst in my otherwise great stay in Catalunya. Food is terrible ( salmon with Brie on it?) and the rooms smell of a strange bleech. Decor is sad and mismatching. Staff at reception very kind however waiters in restaurant leave a lot to be desired.

Our second visit, albeit for one night, lived up to expectations. This time was during high season but the place was just as pleasant. The pool was good. We were given a back facing room and our friends a front room. Back rooms have the evening sun and a rail track to listen to, front rooms the morning sun and...

We'll deal with the birds later. We stayed here for a week-end break and found the hotel excellent. Although we hadn't booked we had researched hotels around and imagined that this place, quite grand and at such a reasonable price must be flawed. No. My first job was working in a Spanish hotel in 1970 and Hotel Gri-Mar could have...

Reading some of the reviews I had to say this, we had a very small room the first one off the lobby area which is also on the first floor. Our outside door/window/patio looked out on to the driveway where if someone would walk by they could see right in your room not good on a warm night with it...

Very clean, large rooms with a nice-sized balcony. The restaurants and food were excellent. The staff was amazing. They were friendly, helpful and almost seemed like "family" after a two-night stay. The pools and outside eating areas were large, clean and never felt too crowded. Paying by giving our room number made it so easy and it truly felt like...

Hotel built in 1960's & retains charm of this era. We stayed in a double bed room equipped with fridge, TV and adequate bathroom. Everything exceptionally clean. Modern lift to all floors. Charm of this hotel is beautiful, well maintained beautiful grounds, very friendly accommodating staff and above all the restaurant/dinner menu. Snr Oscar our waiter & Hose Antonio our...

FANTASTIC HOTEL This place is just wonderful - I just cannot say enough good things about it. We are two New York professionals hailing from Manhattan (steps from Central Park), traveling with three adolescents. We know this part of Spain well - one of us grew up in the region and has been coming to this part of the coast...
