I spent 3 nights here for the D-Day anniversary and was very impressed. The hosts, Eric and Carol, are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities necessary. Would not hesitate to return. Janet/Allen

We stayed 2 nights in May while visiting the landing beaches, museums etc. Having booked a double room we were very pleasantly surprised to be given a large room for 3 people, which was bright, cheerful and with a very comfy bed. Excellent bathroom also. We had tea making facilities and a flatscreen tv which even had BBC 1, 2...

The couple who run La Rosiere are lovely. Both speak English and he is charming. Our room was just big enough, we stayed for 2 nights and only spent only sleeping time in it. The hotel is clean and well presented. They could do with an automatic light in the corridor that senses human presence and comes on when you...

Located at 10 minutes from Bayeux by car, I spent one night there to visit WWII spots. The hotel is clean, the bed was incredible and I really loved the breakfast, althought it was not included in the fare. The recepcionist was gentle and recommended the best spots for us, since we were in a hurry. The roads that lead...

Would love to say we had as great an experience as all others but unfortunately not the case. Were booked here for 2 nights based on all the positive reviews. Nothing terrible just too many items to really enjoy our stay. Cleaning agent that was used was way too overpowering and prevented getting a great night's sleep, hairdryer would not...

We stayed at this hotel for four nights as we were visiting the Normandy beaches and surrounding areas. The hotel is in the countryside but perfect for driving into Arromanche as it is only 2 minutes away. The hotel is very comfortable and the owners are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and bright and have everything needed...

We spent 2 nights here for our tour of D-day. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. There is a sitting area outside that looks out over the countryside and we opened a bottle of wine after a tough day of touring , the owners graciously supplied us with wine glasses and corkscrew...

We spend 4 nights in this hotel. The owners are very friendly, nice people. Room was comfortable, clean en the beds were good. Breakfast was great and various. Bayeux is nearby and a very nice place to go to. You do need a car though. You can also visit Arromanches sur MER and the D-Day beaches very easily from here.
