I stayed here with friends whilst cycling from London to Paris. The rooms are very basic but quaint and we all enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was good value with plenty to keep us going. But what made our stay was the lovely service. As soon as we arrived we were given much needed ice cold water and we...

Nice location just on the London to Paris cycle route. Catered for cycles although in a town offered secure parking for cycles. Room very clean and breakfast delivered to your room. Great location in a small town

The room size was ok for the price but there were hairs on the sheets (not from the head), dust under the bed, the under sheet covered only 3/4 of the mattress, no pillows just the bottom sheet wrapped round the bolster cushion and only 1 set of towels and 1 glass in the bathroom. We'd asked for a double....

Booked this due to town centre location and off street parking but it was very basic, even for a French Country Hotel. I now know it's on a specialist cycling route looking at other reviews and the cyclists seem to like it. We were on the 2nd floor and the room was dusty and the towels and bedding, whilst clean,...

I think this little hotel had a lot to recommend it and was surprised to read so many negative reviews. We had a room on the third floor which was nicely spacious and had a pretty ensuite with bath. The beds were very comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was expensive considering it was mainly just bread...

We are currently staying here and so far it is very pleasant. The reviews about the friendly hostess are true and there is a secure place for your bike if cycling. The room has some dust under the bed and the linen is tired but perfectly clean. Bathroom is clean and huge (not shared). Based on what we have paid...

A clean budget hotel if all you want is somewhere to put your head for the night. We were cycling to Paris so just wanted a decent shower and comfy bed. This hotel gave us both. the breakfast probably wasn't worth the money but it was ok. The receptionist was very helpful securing our bikes for the night.

This is a two star hotel? Wow!! There was nothing two star about this property, except for the pleasant person running it. Admittedly, I showed up, without a reservation, looking for a quaint place to stay in a French village. Gournay en Bray was such a village, but this property is far from quaint. There are several rooms, many of...

Very disappointing. It is only 2 star but dodgy plumbing, freezing cold room in the roof, dirty toilet, tobacco smells, no shower, non existent free wifi (well, it worked sometimes in reception). On the plus side, a pleasant receptionist. This was one of those French hotels that adequately reflected it's surroundings. Gournay should be avoided as a stopover on the...

Let's try and make a start, room terrible, blankets worn through and full of holes, dirty, shared shower down corridor, breakfast a piece of french bread and slice of cake stuffed in a mug, and only jam to accompany it, not even any cheese or ham etc, nothing!! The worst overnight experience of my life.
