A magical venue for a beautiful summer wedding. Everything was delightful from the planning stages right up to the event itself. The hosts Neil and Atila couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The rose garden was a stunning place for the couple to say their vows, in a romantic light mountain mist. The finger food was beautifully crafted and...

Thanks Jann for your wonderful praise. It was our pleasure to have hosted Jess and Leroys wedding. Wonderful guests and a lovely couple, the bride wearing one of the most beautiful dresses we have seen!!! They came from Russia with Love!!! Neil and Atila, also known as Hillboyz!!

We had a magnificent time at Nutwoods Park! The cottage was cosy and very comfortable and caters for those chilly nights. Friday night dinner was a traditional paella, which was outstanding! We even got to take left overs home to have for breakfast. Saturday evening was a fun filled, unforgettable fine dining experience. Cannot wait to return to share this...

An amazing stay at a wonderful place! Neil and Attila made our visit an unforgettable one - starting from their warm welcoming and ending with great care and tips for places to visit. In between, we were blown away by Attila's outstanding cusine skills. Just fantastic! Neil's hospitality and great willingness to help completed a perfect stay. Most recommended, we...

We didn't stay at Nutwoods but my friend and I celebrated my 60th birthday with a dinner there. We were the only guests (which was very fitting, it seemed) and Atila made a special effort for us, catering to our dietary requirements and even producing a bottle a French champagne, on the house, so we could celebrate in style. This...

The stay was a welcomed break from the hustle. Over our four night stay, the dining was a superb experience of set courses (that can be tailored according to your dietary needs) taking us on a trip from Mexico to Spain using the ingredients common to South Africa. The hosts were wonderful, illuminating us with the stories and the history...

We got married at Nutwoods in 2014 - it is so special to us. If you go to Hogsback, even if you do not stay at Nutwoods, make sure to book a dinner at Nutwoods. The food is out of this world. We like staying in the Pyramid room.

Neil and Attila were gracious and generous hosts for our family dinner. Dinner was preceded by drinks around the fire (with homemade black olives). The food was scrumpious. Delicious lamb shank and creative vegetarian options. Desert was a feast for the eye and the palate (three assorted deserts). This place is a jewel tucked away in a mountain retreat in...

We stayed in the Oriental Suite, and enjoyed the breakfast option. The room is very comfortable and clean; and the surrounding garden is beautiful! We took our 1 year old with us, and the hosts (including resident cat and dogs) were accommodating, and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We'll be back in Spring to see the garden in full bloom!

This was one of my two favorite places to stay on the trip. Nutwoods is really a garden - unlike other places - you must be a certain type of person to drive this far out but it was spectacular scenery, good for hikes, interesting village (you're not on the tourist loop at this place). Not many restaurants in town...
