What a great experience. This was an area of Italy that we had not visited and staying at Podere Conti was a great choice. Tucked away in the hillside, the views are spectacular, Cornelia and her family made us feel so very welcome. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. On the day we arrived we were greeted by...

When we drove up to Poderi Conti we thought it was beautiful. Then, Cornelia showed us to our room and I burst into tears...it was so lovely, big, airy, decorated so uniquely. With views overlooking the mountains, each night we watched the Space Station fly over as we stood on our balcony. It was quiet, with only the sound of...

Just to say that I am primarily reviewing Podere as a restaurant, not a hotel. We stayed here for a few nights on a recent trip to Italy. It's a bit off the beaten track and once you're 'in' you don't really want to go 'out' again to eat. Not a problem as the food was delicious. The menu comprised...

bit of a last minute decision and we didn't pay enough attention to ' family friendly' in the description. As a result less than ideal for a couple wanting peace and quiet. Location good. You're locked-in to eating there unless you want a major outing. For families and people with dogs I'm sure very good, but not for us.

First of all our sincerest thanks for the help the owner Cornelia extended to our family when we needed it the most. For that we will always be thankful. The hotel was full of families of various sizes when we where there and the kids played together and had a great time. We had a large room overlooking the pool...

If you want to go somewhere less obvious than some other Tuscan destinations, Podere Conti is for you. Tucked away a long, windy road, you will find a beautifully and sympathetically restored farm property. If reading a book on the open terrace looking out across the Apennines or lounging by the immaculate pool is not relaxing enough, you can always...

A very warm welcome and great atmosphere awaits you at Podere Conti. The place is very tastefully furnished and sympathetically converted for agritourism use. The kitchen is very good and the menu is comprehensive enough to cater for family tastes and will endure for a few nights visit. Lovely staff (from local town) serve in the restaurant and cook in...

The place could be very very nice, but: - food: the restaurant is expensive and disappointing. No effort is made, no today's specials. Same for breakfast, the minimum essential with minimum quality. After 2 days you just want to go to another place Compared to other similar places it is outrageous. - accommodation: same, it is the minimum, and very...

Would not have been looking to vacation in this area of Italy, but attending an event locally and found this accommodation option in reasonable proximity. Certainly off-the-beaten-track and quite isolated up several kilometres of a single track steep and windy road, but upon reaching the property the driving effort felt very worthwhile for the views and seclusion. The hotel grounds...

What a magical and fantastic place Podere Conti is. Stunning views, the quiet sound of birdsong and surrounded by fabulous and beautiful countryside. We were here for a special birthday celebration for my friend Maria - what a fab place to take over (we took the whole venue!!) and Cornelian did us all proud, v well looked after thank you....

Podere Conti is a working farm estate and country hotel nestled in the foothills of the Appennini Mountains with stunning panoramic views over Lunigiana, the northern tip of Tuscany. Owned and managed by an Italian/English couple, the 17th century stone house hamlet has been restored into a luxury country hotel complete with swimming pool and restaurant. Set within 200 acres of grounds, Podere Conti offers a very private holiday location (ideal for hosting events, retreats or workshops) dedicated to personal service and rustic charm without compromising on modern comforts. ... more   less
