Scam, very bad service, rude, all bad word for this hotel is very small. Don't go in this hotel. At the time of booking they tell the different amount but at the time of check out they charge extra, and talk very rudely. Very bad hotel I have seen in my life. Very poor service. They do scam.

we had very bad experience at Hotel Centaur Howrah,Kolkata. Behaviour of Front office staffs was so pathetic. they really don't know how to treat with a Guest. Hotel location & service and other things are good but Front office Guest handling is out of Expectations. I believe if FO team will not change their attitude then Management will suffer for them & i request to management kindly take necessary steps on FO team.

The staff at Hotel Centaur including the owner doesn't know how to speak to the customer. There were so rude to their guest. The water which has been provided for drinking was not drinkable at all. I thought the amount of money that would be charging for a room was quite high compare to other hotels but the hotel staff behaves in such a way that they are doing any favour to you by giving you a room at such a high price.

Though the location is good around 1 km from the Howrah railway station and the howrah bridge, I will not recommend it actually. I had taken a triple room with extra person. The rooms were not cleaned properly and there was dust, there was only one towel for four of us and i had to ask for the extra towel and they gave one more. The linen were not nicely done and not washed properly. I had to stay just for a night and had to leave early morning hence didnt get into an argument though there were enough reasons for this. While taking the room only i had told them that I need hot water early morning as I had to leave early. They told me that it will be available from 5 am (though I knew very well that it will not be the case and my guess was right) and there was no hot water till 630 am. I had to call them several times after which they provided hot water in a bucket.Imagine!!! and all this after paying Rs. 2400/- for a night and that too they wanted in cash because they wanted to get rid of GST though i refused to pay anything for cash and asked for GST bill. The place is very much below average.

One of the Worst experience I ever had in the Hotel Industry. The staffs are not trained well to handle the Guests. Their behaviors is worst & pathetic. They are not fit to work in a Lodge also. The rooms service was also not up to the mark. The front office staffs are not educated to work in the Hotel Industry.
I had checked in on 12th May and checkout on 14th may, they didn't even bother to give me the Receipt for 2 days stay in the Hotel. I have been requesting them to forward to my Email Id, till date they have not send me the Receipt.
Whenever I am calling them, they are just disconnecting my calls. Very very poor service by this Hotel. I request other guests to think thousand times, before booking this Centure Hotel.

I had bad experiance in this hotel.bad rooms pillow and bedsheets are not washed.room full of dust.extra charges chetaing in a tax bill.plz dont book this hotel.plz book a hotel in oyo or makmytrip.this hotel is not value for money.

The bed sheets are all ordinary with huge oil spots which looks very odd and you can't sleep on it. The hotel owner as well as staff will not agreed to change it too because they don't have clean bed sheet. All the staff are money crazy and asking for tips in every step. Don't stay in the rooms towards adjusting hotel "The Ashoka" because the music system of disco bar will irritate you till 11PM and you can't sleep unless bar closed in "The Ashoka" hotel.
