We stayed as a group over Easter. The rooms in a separate building are well equipped, warm in winter and all the comfort you need for not much money. The Inn is just superb. Roaring log fires, well kept real ales, lots of atmosphere and best of all the service from the staff and manager (owner?) is exceptional. Everyone we...

stayed here for three nights , what a wonderful experience a real cotswold country pub and hotel, part of this pub dates back to 1633 when it was a cider house the bars consist of roaring log fires and oak beams, the hotel at the rear is more modern having twelve rooms, very comfortable with large beds lovely bed linen,...

Stayed here for one night. As its in the middle of a small village, the expectation was the Crown was going to be very "rustic". On arrival we were felt very welcome. The check in was efficient and the young lady was very polite and efficient and showed us to our rooms. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Good tea/coffee choice, nice...

We could only stay one night at the very excellent Crown Inn but had time to enjoy the atmosphere of a real pub [with several real ales of course] that serves good food but has not been 'gastro-ized'! The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with perhaps the most comfortable pub beds we have slept in. The breakfast was...

Very comfortable bed, well equipped room. Two minor criticisms, no paper tissues and only one plug socket available for charging phone and that was for the kettle. Otherwise very good night's sleep. Didn't eat there at night and had to leave mega early in the morning so couldn't sample breakfast but the menus looked very tempting.

We came across The Crown Inn (by request from Blue at Cotswold Yurts) and were thoroughly impressed with the food and service. We arrived in the morning, and the lady who greeted us (Gemma I believe) told us that they were only open for hotel guests until 11am, yet they would set us up a table so we didn't have...

Top marks to the Crown Inn. The quintessential English pub with rooms. We can't comment on the rooms as we live locally and called in for lunch. Log fires, thick walls, beamed ceilings, friendly and efficient service set the scene, which was enhanced by good food and beers. not far off the main Cirencester to Stroud road, it is well...

Friends invited us to join them for a two night break at the Crown, as they had stayed there twice before and recommended it. We are so glad they did, it's a very comfortable place to stay. The accommodation is in a separate building, with the rooms having all the essential mod-cons. The Inn itself is a characterful old building,full...

From the flagstone floors, through to the oak beams, excellent real ale and wholesome food, this pub is everything a real country pub should be. We stopped by for a pint after walking the dogs but we're so comfortable sat by the roaring fire that we stayed a while and enjoyed a lovely bowl of soup. The staff are attentive...
