Just recently returned after lovely four day break at Bowden hall hotel, we were greeted by a very nice receptionist who quickly booked us in to our room. Once in the room which was on the top floor ,the room was clean and very cosy. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant , the food was top class and...

Wonderful hotel in a lovely location. Room was spacious with a very comfy bed. Nice ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath. TV in the room and there is tea and coffee making facilities. At night I had my own personal Tawny Owl outside the window calling :) Reception, bar and restaurant were all very nice. Great breakfast and lovely...

A huge group of friends stayed at Bowden Hall and we all had such a fabulous time. The hotel and staff could not do enough for us which made for a most relaxing fun time. Just spent the weekend at this hotel for an exclusive event. The rooms are great, the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and they catered for 135 people very efficiently. The grounds are very nice even if we couldn't enjoy them in the rain.

I have just organised an exclusive use weekend for 135 people at this hotel. The management were brilliant in managing my expectation which included a number of very late changes to both rooms and requirements. The staff were welcoming and friendly, check in was a breeze and the food excellent. It is true to say that disabled access could be...

Really good visit, very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely room, and great parking. Try and get away early in the morning, as the hotel is near a school, and the parent parking can be a nightmare. Other than that I will stay again when in the area.

Nice hotel but could do with a lift or two. The food was nice in the restaurant. The service was excellent though. The hotel is pretty secluded but quiet which is good. The bed was a little small and the room was very small. Other than that was a nice stay.

Tried to get a room Friday 11/11/16 Being part of the Accor chain, I expect better. The reception was nothing short of rude. I walked out disgusted with the woman that served me, or more correctly didn't. Management needs to review their customer service training of staff.

What was a stately home for an Army Brigadier, Bowden Hall is now owned by Mercure. Awkward to get to as it is tucked away in the countryside accessible by a very narrow lane. It boasts very nice gardens but at this time of the year (October) not the best time to appreciate it. A lake was within a short...

Dear david m Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay here with us at Bowden Hall during our Murder Mystery weekend. We were glad to read that your room was spacious and comfortable and that you experienced a good hearty breakfast and that everything was 'first class' with your evening meal the night before.
