This resort is a bliss in Kalpetta. The ambience and the service within the resort are extraordinary. Especially, the manager (Mr. Faasil) is very friendly and hospitable. It would be inappropriate if I don't call out on the helper and room keeper (Mr. Ramakrishnan) who is a call away for anything that you need. His patience and services are commendable. I would recommend this resort for these three things, connectivity, comfortable stay and hospitable staff.

Misty Hills, Kalpeta is a beautiful, well maintained and also affordable place. I stayed for four days and it was completely peaceful. Recommend this place to all. The services of the manager Fazil and the transport support of Hashim was really good.

Nice and clean room. Very quite place even though located near market area. Parking is available. Nice freshly cooked breakfast was served in garden during our stay. Room food service was slow. Manager was very courteous . He shared good information about wayanad.
Auto services from "Hashim" was really good. He takes good pictures too.
He was very friendly and helped in exploring many places. He did trekking also with us which was really helpful too.

We booked a A/c suite which i think was the best decision in terms of value for money... the room was neat, the Garden just outside with its access from our balcony.. bathroom was huge and neat . The staff are extremely courteous. Would greet you everytime they meet, always ready to click pictures for you.The baby was amused n happy. Room service staff were also very helpful. They would allow me to take anything for my 1.5 yr old baby from the food menu even if we ordered ala carte. there is also a birds nest attached to the compound. Ones again thank you very much for giving as a fabulous holiday especially Mr:Fasil who was at the reception I strongly recommend this resort for familys who needs memorable stay

Recently we toured to Kalpetta, stayed two nights at Misty Hills. It was very great experience staying at Misty Hills. Staff very good and punctual, rooms are bigger with separate dining area. Room service was good. Geyser fitted in bath rooms, and bath rooms are specious and clean. Food really good there. WiFi service is also available with good signal strength. Lot of parking area is there. Nice gardening around the building, swings and tree hut also there. Half day we can spend at Musty Hills only!

I had checked in recently with family. The process is seamless. Rooms are more like an apartment, with front room,kitchenette etc. they can serve you breakfast and dinner, no lunch. There is no inhouse restaurant. No room has AC. Wayanad gets a bit warm and humid during summer unlike other southern hill stations. Rest all is ok for a no frills stay.

I visited Waynad with my family last February . I booked Misty hill resort over phone. Before reaching to Waynad i was really worried about my stay , although Mr Amaiya Lal gave me email confirmation about my booking . And i;m really happy by there welcome and friendly approach. They upgrade our stay without any extra cost may be that was possible due to off season. Food was good and rooms are clean and well maintained. It's located heart of Waynad . If u wish you can have food outside also. lots of hotels available nearby in walkable distance. i defiantly recommended Misty hill for all travelers.

I visited this place during the first week of August 2016. The main reason for choosing this place was it was budget friendly and located in the center of the city. The place is well maintained and though it's located in the centre of the city, there is no disturbance of vehicles or anything.
I had booked a deluxe room but after checking the 1bhk room, I found it to be better and paid an additional charge at the hotel, which you can negotiate if you want to do so.
The rooms located in the first floor seemed to be quite annoying to me as the front reception was also located there itself and might cause disturbance of you are seeking privacy. After requesting, I got my room at the 2nd floor which was quite calm. The 1bhk apartment like room was quite spacious with a small Hall with TV, a bedroom and a kitchen. The bathrooms seem to be just ok.
Carry your umbrellas or rain coats with you in the evenings.
Pros -
# budget friendly and affordable price
# located centre of the city and can go out anytime if you want to get something from outside.
# good staff
# food provided by the hotel tasted Ok and there are no service charges. Fairly priced food.
# garden area is nice to spend time.
Cons -
# the hotel doesn't ask for any identity nor collect any documents while doing checkin which I feel is a security concern and they have to take it up for avoiding any unwanted situations
# there is no free breakfast as claimed in trip advisor. Not sure if it is there only through certain booking sites
# the toilets are not that well maintained. Just check before checkin and get it done if not good
# no great view from the rooms.
Overall a good stay at affordable price. Enjoyed the stay.

Good rooms; but kindly do not expect too much; Family safe and good food.
I was told "Makemytrip" or "Cleartrip" is having some unbelievably low rates running ( Some 400 bugs or so) - kindly check
