We wanted a break from the routine and as suggested by our friend we tried the Summer Villa. Of all the many things in Wayanad, we as a family were moved by the hospitality of the owners. Busy, with the sight seeing trips to the waterfalls, the plantations and the shopping spree, we were looking forward to the dinner, which deserves appreciation in the superlative. Watching the regular evening drizzle, with the comfort of a spacious balcony and with some Pakoda/tea in hand, is a treat worth remembering. Awaiting the December time, for a repeat experience !

Stayed here for 3 days, location is very close from kalpetta bus stand. Clean and calm natural environment surrounded by plants & trees to relax. Good homely food. Overall it was a pleasant and relaxing stay we had. Regards, Shanmuga Sundaram

Myself and 5 other frnz travelled to wayanad, Jus like 5 mins walk from kalpetta town, nice and economical place to stay, gud hospitality by Promoth, rite frm start he gave a warm welcome and he gave some gud updates abt the places to visit and last but not least excellent homely food provided by them

I don't know who and why giving better ratings for this place. This is inside the town and well 2 minutes walk from the main road and not between any coffee estate as said, but surrounded by few coffee saplings and facing Kalpetta bus stand but not any hill view !! it was a mistake of me choosing this place reading some ones blog ! may be this place suits bachelors who drive in crowd and drink all night before going to sleep without realizing how dusty smelling and cockroaches running all over your bags and clothes ! Either owner don't realize to clean and make the room non dusty or people giving bad rating have not stayed in 'wonderful and neat home stay's yet'. Kalpetta's every home has one home stay at their terrrace and every home around this home stay is a home stay ! …

I traveled along with my 11 other friends, We booked summervilla, From the day we inquired about the stay.. Mr.pramod Gladison was so warm in welcoming us and provided a clear picture about our stay. which made us to decided our stay at summervilla. After reaching there till we depart the home stay was that the place belong to us !!! I strongly recommend this place for a very pleasent stay for your trip in wayanad. Clean restroom. Clean food. Stayed at this wonderful homestay from December 21st to December 25th. Not only was it a wonderful and lovely place to stay , the hosts Mr Pramod Gladson, his Wife and his Father all took care of our needs and requirements. Not once did we receive a bad service. We were also provided with excellent recommendations on which places to visit and also when we went to Kuruva Dweep we had a nice lunch at a small restuarant recommended by Mr Pramod. Will stay here again if I visit Wayanad again. Highly recommended for Family trips. Its not far from Kalpetta city where everything was walkable but also not in the busy road.

Visited Wayanad recently ,with group of friends .Reached Summer villa at noon , It appears exactly as in the pics here on site . More to it is the great hospitality provided by the host Promod (owner of the house) and his family . Food was excellent and felt pleased to stay at this place . This place is highly recommended for home stay .

I recently visited Wayanadu on 12-Oct-13 to 14-Oct-2013 with my friends. We 4 guys stayed at "the summer villa Homestay ",. It was an excellent Homestay and the best one which I have never seen. It was an enjoyable and safe place to stay in Summer Villa Homestay. The house was very neat and comfortable. It was a nice Homestay for our budget. Service was excellent. It is a main street in Kalpetta, Pramod Gladson, the owner does a great job of taking care of guest's needs. He can arrange the cab for sightseeing and he also helped us save time and travel time by guiding our visits to various places.
