Had been to this place with a friend for 2 days stay. Mr. Pramod, the homestay owner, is an awesome guy. We were provided with authentic delicious Kerala food. The way he has maintained the lush vegetation around the house is simply incredible. If you are planning to enjoy the nature, this is the best place to be at.

Was here with a group of 9 from Bengaluru on 5 bikes and a car. Stayed here for nearly 3 days. We had got one full house plus 2 rooms. Rooms were and well organised, had a small TV, hot water with shower. We had campfire in night, which was awesome. Homestay is located very close to the main roads and easily accessible for bikes and small cars. Good eateries around the homestay. Breakfast provided was amazing, no to oily/ spicy/ salty.
Few dislikes: - Roads to homestay aren't in their best condition and are narrow & slippery. - Improper ventilation, no mosquito nets on windows.

Looking out for a budget stay in Wayanad and extremely glad that we could find the Summer Villa Home stay. The location of the home stay itself is very good being close to the main Kalpetta market. The rooms are very clean with a nice porch that is provided where you can have your breakfast, etc. There is space provided for parking your car too making it an ideal stopover in Wayanad if you are on a road trip. The sleep quality was excellent and the breakfast provided was healthy and tasty too. The owner was polite and helpful without being intrusive. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay on budget in Wayanad.

We started from chennai on 5th sep and took Kaveri express train to mysore then Innova Vechile for wayanad and reached Kalpetta by 12 AM on 6th sep.The Summer villa was more spacious, comfort and worth for money. We enjoyed wayanad for 3 days and visited Banasura Dam, Pookode Lake, chembra peak,soochipara waterfalls, karapuzha dam and edakkal cave.Our main focus was meenmutty waterfalls and kuruva island but we missed to visit the spot due to site closure. Be Prepared with table salt to avoid Leech bite. We delighted by having puttu with kadali on first day and second day by Appam with stew for breakfast at summer villa.

It's easily accessible from the main road and is close to hotels etc.
Pramod Gladson, the owner does a great job of taking care of guest's needs. He also helped us save time and travel time by guiding our visits to various places.
Would suggest anyone with family to go for Summervilla stay during their visits to Wayanad. It's safe and cozy for families.

This home stay is really a home stay. This has got only two rooms & so your privacy is 100% assured.If you book both the rooms then the entire place is yours.Rooms are spacious & comfortable. The food is tasty& more importantly it does not affect our health as we are senior citizens.We had our dinner very late in the night &the host is happy to serve us . Location is idle for sightseeing of places in & around Kalpetta. The travel agency recommended by them is good. We will recommend this place any time to any sort of group. I will advice the host to supply news paper in the morning &better towels in the bathroom

Had a very comfortable stay. place is located just besides the town but still tucked away from noise and crowd. Food served was delicious food and service was prompt. ideal for 4-5 people travelling in a group. parking space is available for car but not sure if everybody will find it accessible in car.

We have stayed in this homestay for a couple of days in May. It is quickly reachable from Kalpetta bus stand and located in the center of the city but still located in a lush green environment. Mornings are quite fresh and energetic due to chilled weather and green trees. Room allocated for us was very clean and comfortable. Worth for the price that we pay.
Breakfast was very yummy, Thanks for the host. We had Poori and Appam for respective days. They were very very tasty. Pramod helped us by providing a rented bike to go nearby place "Pookood lake" and "Lakkidi view point". The bike ride was truly amazing as the roads were laid between coffee estates.
Next day, we have opted for our own transport by searching local taxi and roamed nearby places Kanthappara falls and Banasura dam etc...
If you are in Wayanad(Kalpetta), you can happily book this without any hesitation. Enjoy your stay :-)

Have been to wayanad for 4 times but never found a better place to stay at than summer villa home stay. The best place for the best price . The host Mr.Pramod is very helpful and is always ready to help in whatever way possible.
-The home stay is very close Kalpetta bus stand (about 1 km) . - The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. - Bathrooms are also very clean and there is a 24 hr hot water supply. - The furniture in the room is very well maintained. - There is an open space outside the room which can be used for parking the vehicle. - The best part is that the room is situated between a lot of trees and plants, so we got awesome mornings waking up to the sound if birds chirping and a wonderful view outside the room. - The food provided is traditional Kerala food. Very tasty home cooked food.
Apart from this Mr Pramod was very helpful. We had reached Kalpetta around 6 in the the morning and was given an early check in as the room was not occupied. He arranged a bike for us to travel around wayanad. He also planned our entire trip which place to visit when and we could cover all the major destinations in wayanad in 3 days.
This wayanad trip has been a very memorable one thanks to Mr. Pramod and Summer Villa homestay. Highly recommend it to everyone travelling to wayanad.
