Detailed Reviews
We had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful home stay - Camellia. Set in the middle of a sprawling coffee and spice estate, this home offers everything you can ask for. Sajan is a great host who made sure we are comfortable and provided much needed advice on places to visit. The caretaker Krishnan is a super man who took care of all our needs. The house itself is so well maintained. The old world charm of the house makes it so welcoming. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees, this is a great spot for bird watchers too. Perfect place for a perfect getaway!!

The Camellia Villa!! As the name says this villa is surrounded by Coffee estates and beautiful garden. We stayed here for 2 days and took away a memory for whole life. This place makes you feel like home and I have never felt the same way in any of my trip stays. The house is so clean and well maintained, an antique collection of everything is there. Sajan was a great host ensured we have a pleasant stay and acted as tourist guide suggesting different places to visit. How can we forget Krishnan, the caretaker, who took so much care of us. HE is like everywhere when you need him. Perfect getaway place and would recommend anyone who is planning to visit Wayanad.

Camellia is the perfect destination for a getaway. The location is super perfect. Beautiful property, Approach road to the property is narrow and quite steep.Host Sajan took extremely good care of us, giving his personal attention to plan our days. The next best thing is the tasty food served at Camellia and the warmth of Chef Pathrose and Helper Krishna. All in all a must visit homestay if you are visiting Wayanad!! The ambience, vibe, hospitality is far beyond imagination.

Very hospitable and homely place in the midst of coffee estates with a eye catching scenery of Chembra Peak. You get see beautiful birds and hear their chirpy songs. It is delight for bird watchers. Then I have spotted jungle fowls, mongoose, wild boars and monkeys.

A most beautiful setting for a holiday. I went with my mum, husband and two sons. Everyone loved it for different reasons. The birds and the bird song in the morning is like from a dream. The view from the balcony is unbelievably beautiful. The house is well maintained and the chef is a star! Would recommend this to anyone looking to spend a pampered day immersed in nature in a homely setting.
