I can certainly rate this as one of my best resort stay experiences, in India. Right from their Service to Accommodation to Food, I could not find a single fault during my 4 days stay here. Mr Jobish and his staff Ms Ashley, Mr Shyam (Reception area), Chef Munir, Don and Jay (Restaurant) and the rest of the team ensured we had a pleasant stay. Though its a Resort, we felt we were staying with a family. The Ayurvedic Massage at the Spa is managed by a team of Doctor and his expert masseurs. Thank You Dr Fayiz for the ayurvedic treatment which rejuvenated by body and soul. The Buffet spread is vast and the menu changes every morning. We missed the tribal dance program during our stay here, due to their non availability. Food was excellent and the Chef Munir even customised some dishes to match our taste buds. On the day we checked out, the Chef packed a bottle of pickle as his gift to us, when he found that we relished their pickle. The Cottage overlooking the Lake is heavenly. You open the door to the chirping of birds and natural fresh air from the lake. There was never a dull moment here and Mr Jobish ensured we visited some of the known landmarks like the Edakkal Caves, Kanthanpara Waterfall and the Karapuzha Dam with an Amusement park etc. He was always there with a big smile on his face and I must say he is an asset to the Resort Management. He upgraded our stay to the Lakefront cottage though the Resort was running full. No wonder he ensures repeat customers coming to the Resort and that list will include me.

Me and my family had a lovely weekend at the LakeRose resort. The service was amazing. Everyone, right from the security to the manager had a large smile on their face as they welcomed us into our rooms. The rooms were amazing, and well stocked. The rooms had wood panelled interiors straight out of an Alaskan cottage. The pools also were clean and well maintained. The best part about the pool was the lack of chlorine in the waters, and felt as natural as the water that lay adjacent to it in the lake. It was surreal to watch over the lake in the infinity pool as the sun set. We capped off the night with an amazing bonfire and a tasty barbecue assisted by their chef whose friendly service was only matched by culinary skills.
The best part about the whole stay came the next morning as we woke up to the sunrise over the lake. This was one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen, and I'm someone who has travelled a lot for that perfect sunrise.
I strongly recommend this place to anyone who visits wayanad.

I stayed with my entire family( including kids and senior citizens) for two nights and it was absolutely an amazing experience. The entire resort has a beautiful view as mentioned on the website and it is just breathtaking.
Just listing down my review across various parameters to make it easier for everyone.
Rooms : We booked three rooms - Two Lakeview breathing walls and one Superior Lakeview room. Both the rooms were spacious and perfect for two Adults and a child, The rooms came with complementary water and fruit bowl and the hygiene of the rooms were bang on. One of the rooms had a small issue in terms of lighting and the TV remote was missing, but the staff addressed the issue as soon as we had raised it. The rooms we took were rated 21k(including tax) for three rooms/day. It might be slightly on the higher range but for the facilities, cleanliness and services it is worth it.
Hygiene : All the COVID -19 protocols were followed by the staff, who are at all times using a face mask and maintaining social distancing. They ensure that all the common facilities are sanitized and kept clean. So do not worry about the safety and cleanliness
Staff : They were extremely helpful, especially Mr. Jobish who is the manager. His team and him were available throughout the stay and was ready to help us out in anything we required. Make sure to contact him (His number is stated on the website as well) and his team if you are planning to travel to Wayanad with family.
Food : The stay comes with free complimentary breakfast which was yummy and scrumptious. The other meals are to be placed as per your preference and is an additional expenditure. In my experience, there was a slight delay in these meals though it was pre-ordered , but considering the fact that it is prepared live as per our order it is negligible.
Overall Review : I would rate my stay here with my family a 4.9/5 for their impeccable service and breathtaking views which I thoroughly enjoyed. Do not forget to catch the beautiful sunrise and sunset views during your stay. You will get some amazing clicks which are Instagram worthy :D

To start with, the location of the resort is fantastic. It is situated beside the Karapuzha dam and all the rooms, be it a cottage or a less costlier room offer a very scenic view from the balcony and the swimming pool offers an excellent view if the reservoir. The swimming pool is clean and is duly maintained.The resort also has been thoroughly maintained and is very neat and tidy.The path leading to the rooms is beautiful with a lot of greenery. The cleanliness is amazing, I couldn't find a single smudge even on the balcony glass, in the room they provide a comb, dental kit and a shaving kit. The rooms are beautiful and very tidy, the linens, towels everything is clean.The bed was decorated with petals and the furniture they've used in the rooms is very good. Coming to the staff, they are a bunch of extremely professional and polite people and they'll do whatever they can to make your stay wonderful. You'll be welcomed like a family. Even the restaurant staff is very polite. The food is also good and there's is a lot of variety to choose from, the head chef recommended us some authentic Kerelan cuisine and it was delicious. They also have indoor games such as TT, chess and carrom. Other games that you can play are badminton, cricket, golf and archery. To sum up, if you're going to Wayanad I don't think any other place can offer what Lakerose resort can, you should definitely stay there.

I traveled with extended family (parents and sister's family) for the year end vacation.
The staff led by Mr.Jobish are all very courteous, always smiling, and efficient. They made us feel welcome and totally at home. Thanks to the entire team at Lakerose for making our trip memorable!
My parents were allocated the cottages overlooking the lake and the rest of us got the "breathing walls" rooms a little further away from the lake front. The luxuriant ambience combined with the "natural" feel of the rooms will remain in my memory for a long time. The rooms were spic-and-span with all accessories necessary and nothing to complain about. While the lake shore is not accessible the view from the rooms themselves were spectacular with all rooms overlooking the lake from nice cozy balconies.
The property is beautifully landscaped with a variety of plants and bushes and offers something of interest to the naturalists.
I find it hard to keep my son engaged during such holidays. The golf clubs, fooseball table, TT table, and cycles were all in good condition and helped him stay busy!
The cultural programs by the local people were interesting and gave a glimpse in the life and traditions of the local tribal people.
The restaurant while open through the day only prepares items on demand. So, make sure that you plan and order your food 30-45 minutes in advance. The fare has a strong local cuisine influence but was all very tasty for us and we stayed well fed and satisfied during the trip!

LakeRose resort is one of the best stay experiences I have had in Kerala and Wayanad.
The approach road is direct, easily accessible and the resort gate is right at the tarred road so there is no last-mile off-roading that is needed to reach the resort. There is ample parking space for cars and bikes.
One of the important things which struck us was how the resort has been kept compact and small, with limited rooms but this ensures superb standards of service levels and quality of amenities offered to guests. Needless to say, the manager Mr. Jobish and his team have a flawless of commitment to service towards any of our requests.
We stayed in the aerial lake view deluxe room and it was very nicely stocked with all essential amenities, had a beautiful view of the Karapuzha dam backwaters and was maintained extremely clean and tidy.
Lots of indoor and outdoor games to keep people of all ages entertained, the infinity swimming pool is beautifully located and maintained well. The resort campus is nicely curated and the location itself is amazing.
The food is extremely delicious, each and every item we had was prepared with so much attention to detail and taste. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and also introduced a few Kerala cuisine dishes. Special thanks to chef Anil for catering to our taste buds with so much affection.
All in all, LakeRose is definitely a place I would like to go back to, again and again. Highly recommended and one of the best resorts in Wayanad with a unique setting (the Karapuzha backwater view). Thanks to Jobish and team once again!

21st October2021 I visited Lakerose resort with my Wife and Parents to celebrate my Father's birthday .We had booked the Twin Grandeur cottage overlooking the lake ,which are two cottages sharing a common wall with an access door between them,which can b locked based on preferences, both rooms have a deck facing the lake.The rooms were spacious & clean , the food was great .The Resort also has a Dining area and a small recreation centre with Table tennis, carroms.There is a play area for the kids and a public access swimming pool . The road access to the resort is also comfortable and further along the resort road you get to see the Karapuzha Dam.
A big thanks for the hospitality we recieved from the friendly staff at the reception,the restaurant staff. At the resort they had offered to prepare a Birthday cake for my Dad,also a special thanks to Mr Jobish ,GM of Lakerose for making us feel welcome.

We had taken the Ariel Lake view deluxe room for a 2 night stay, the view from the room was so mesmerising, you feel like simply staying in bed and enjoying the calming view from the room, the greenery and the infinity pool with a lake in the background cannot get better!!!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming , they were ready to help us with anything we need at anytime.
The rooms and the resort was kept very clean, the garden was well groomed, swimming pool was also very clean. Very well maintained resort, hats off to the staff!
There are indoor games like foosball, table tennis, chess and also outdoor ones like darts, archery , golf and badminton all of which are free to use, bicycles are there as well.
Coming to food, the complimentary breakfast was very nice, good variety and fresh tasty food. The dishes I liked most were the authentic Kerala dishes like puttu with kadala curry and appam with stew, the stew was super creamy and had the right amount of spices. Chef Anil was ready to help us and serve us with anything we need, he took care very well and made us food as per our needs!!! For evening snacks we had ordered French fries, it was amazing, must try in the beautiful weather with stunning views. For lunch we had asked him to make us a spicy rasam, he made us tomato rasam, which was spicy and tangy, we enjoyed it with the local red rice and thick curd.
One of the unique service they provided was that they washed our car on both the days even without we asking for it, cars usually get very dirt after travelling so far in rainy weather and ghat sections, so this felt like a very welcoming gesture to us, I have been to many resorts and no one provided this service absolutely free of cost!
Overall we had a very delightful experience and felt we got the best available room in the resort, the view from the bed is the best I have seen till now!

Don’t even think twice before booking it. It’sa beautiful property, value for money. The view from our room was so beautiful that we didn’t get out much. Just lie on the bed order the amazing food (being vegetarians I was very happy with food). The service there is outstanding. The chef will just go beyond and give what you asked for. There are plenty of activities to do irrespective of your age. Also the location is perfect, away from the hustle bustle and has a dam nearby where you can go and do more adventures activities. For room I would suggest ask them for 202 which is an aerial room view. They cleaned our car, which is a little unheard and they arranged dinner next to pool for us without asking for any amount of money, which all the other resorts do. They are there purely to ensure that you have a good time. The breakfast and food was very tasty. We started for three days and didn’t feel the need to go out. Reasonably priced, good quality veg food was there. Planning to visit soon. Thank you to all the staff of lake rose, who made our stay a memorable one
