The hotel is well hidden along inconspicuous Burleigh Lane, behind a fenced estate. If following sat nav from Cirencester ignore directions via the very narrow Besbury Lane and take the Burleigh Lane instead. This cute Costwold stone manor house overlooks the golden valley below. At times you can even spot “resident” deer from the windows. There are some rooms in...

With an excellent reputation in the local area and a beautiful setting, I had high hopes for Sunday lunch - sad to say, I was very disappointed. The melon was very under-ripe - almost flew off the plate when I cut it and I have never had such overcooked, hard roast potatoes anywhere. The delightful plate of miniatures with tea/coffee...

Beautiful location & surroundings, very welcoming on arrival & everywhere was clean & tidy. Excellent service & staff. Highly recommended. We stayed in the old coach houses which are away from the main hotel but still comfortable & allows dogs to stay.

Private celebration Sunday dinner for 14. Had a lounge to ourselves for pre-dinner drinks. A17 month year old catered for with a high chair. Dinner in a private room around a large oval dining table. All comfortably seated. Good range of choices put together on menu. Good food. French doors opening onto gardens for photos. It was everything one could...

A stunningly situated and very well run, traditional country house hotel. Beautiful views, excellent service, very good food and extremely comfortable ambience, plus it's also good value. The wood-panelled bar/lounge is a particular highlight, although a slightly larger range of drinks would be good.

Stayed here for one night for a birthday. The hotel is hidden up a long lane, and a delight to see at the end of the drive. Beautiful building and immaculate gardens. The staff extremely friendly. Our room was spacious with period decor and a modern bathroom. Beautiful white towels. Lovely crisp clean linen. Our evening meal was so lovely....

Just back from our one night stay at Burleigh Court and apart from a couple of really small niggles that are too insignificant to mention we cannot wait to revisit. Our room in the main house was well appointed and very spacious. Bathroom was snug but adequate. Shower was hot and powerful which is always appreciated. We dined in the...
