We were making a second visit to the Beckford and enjoyed it as much as the first time. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was good and the lovely village of Beckford is a short walk away. For us the hotel was ideally placed for visits to surrounding towns and for meeting up with friends that we knew...

Every member of staff ensured the weekend of our son's wedding went without a hitch. They provided us with a separate area for our family breakfast and catered to every whim ensuring the morning of the wedding went smoothly for us all.

Don't book the annexe, and go somewhere else for breakfast, the room was large, bed comfy, which helped whilst I was awake listening to the traffic outside, breakfast could and should have been tastier, also the toaster was annoyingly slow

I stayed at the Beckford for two nights, my work booked it, thought it would make a nice change from the usual short stay places. The room was large and accommodating the bed was king sized, on-suite as you would expect TV, coffee making etc. The thing that struck me, as you can tell by my title was the staff...

We visited here on a Friday evening, four adults 2 children, 2 dogs. We were instantly made to feel welcome. With dog treats on the bar we knew this was a lovely dog friendly pub, with pooches welcome in the bar area. All the food was of a very good standard, the only criticism that I would make is that...

Ask to stay in Room 11 as when you stay below the floor boards creak so much it will keep you awake. Food was a little under seasoned but overall a very nice find would stay again. The staff are very helpful. It could do with an outdoor play area for children.
