This was a perfect stay. A good old-fashioned B&B of the highest quality. Pristine spacious room with garden view, beautiful home cooked food and warm hospitality .
Simply delightful place we will remember for a very long time.
Two of us stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful house owned by Anne & Nigel... On arrival we were given a pot of tea and home-made cake & shortbread... Our lovely large room had amazing views and oh so quiet!! home-made flapjacks in room...More

Just a single night stay on our way to Slimbridge, but this lovely place cannot be faulted.
Delicious and generous dinner, lovely hosts, incredible house in a terrific setting.
Lots of menu options for herbivores and carnivores.
A superb guesthouse. Built in 1896 and beautifully restored. A warm welcome and a lovely room with a comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Just outside Stroud in the countryside. I could not find fault. Wonderful.

Thank you for your kind words. Lovely meeting you both and chatting. Hope you had a safe journey home and glad you had such glorious weather while you were here.

The lady who's in charge will give you lots of information about good places to eat and other things to do. You will need a car to travel around the area as we did ourselves. In Stroud itself, we only had food in places where the lady recommended... we didn't do much there as we were driving to other villages to do walks and enjoy the sceneries.
I have to say it's a lovely quiet place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Don't expect to find lots of shops in that area... But you will find lots of shops in a big city like Bath.
Hope this is helpful..
