Visited last night with my husband, 2 human friends and our mini schnauzer. Booked a table in the bar- see pic (dogs not allowed in restaurant). Booking process was over the phone and the chap was really easy to deal with. Arrived and our table was perfect next to the open log fire. Atmosphere was lovely, decor really nice, felt...

We had a wonderful stay and a delicious dinner at The Mason Arms! The room decor is lovely and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The shower water temperature was a bit tricky but it did not negatively impact our overall experience. Dinner was incredible as was breakfast. We loved that so much of the food was locally sourced- it added...

We found this pub on the Alistair Sawday site and stayed for 1 night on the way to a family reunion. Paul and his team (especially Jill) were incredibly welcoming and helpful and our room was lovely. It was simply but elegantly furnished and had everything we needed. In the evening we enjoyed sitting by the log fire in the...

We enjoyed a tasty meal and warm welcome at the Masons Arms. The hake was cooked to perfection and the apple crumble and pannacota with grapefruit sorbet were delicious. The pub has been tastefully refurbished creating an inviting ambiance.

We were staying in castle eaton but passed this place during the day, the appeal from outside got us to reserve a table. When we arrived the atmosphere was lively, the staff couldn't have been more pleasant, we had a drink before we went to our table. Ordering our starters and mains couldn't have been easier, we were not rushed...

We enjoyed tasty and delicious food for both breakfasts and dinner. Truly a great place to relax and take a time off. I'd like to recommend this hotel and...

We had lunch here on a Saturday in September (4 adults, two children). The setting is very nice and we had a very good meal. All three courses were very good for all parties and the service was very attentive, albeit it was quite quiet. They were very patient with our slightly grumbly children which made the provision of games...

We booked into the Masons Arms with our bikes and met with wonderfully friendly service, good ales and very nice good - I would recommend the pig's cheeks. Breakfast was great and the rooms are pleasant too. It's a fantastic benchmark for pubs and B&Bs everywhere.

We stayed here last night as we were attending a friends wedding near by. I was blown away by the service provided, fantastic team! The rooms were amazing, clean, well decorated, a huge shower and very comfy beds!! They allow dogs to stay which is a huge bonus and perfect for us. We came down for breakfast and they had...

Stayed with 3 friends in an adjoining room for one night, was a beautiful place and such good value for money. Rooms have been renovated to a really high standard, breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. Service from all staff was also brilliant, very nice, laid back atmosphere; would visit again!
