You have to try at least once, they will arrange zeep Safari and elephant safari, free pick up and drop, food is also nice, the room is really ethnic. Must try desi chicken and vegetables thali.they have a gypsy.
Visited this place with a kids. Kids enjoyed well. Booking was made over telephone, quoted reasonable charge. Owner helped a lot in booking of elephant safari. Things to note: 1. It is 31 Km away from elephant safari point. 2. They do not have any person for carrying luggage to home/cottage. guests have to do it on their own. 3. They have one separate bamboo cottage and 3 rooms in a house. 4. Charge for bamboo cottage is approx. twice the charge of room. however, it not mentioned by the owner earlier. one should take care while selection of room/cottage. 4. Food is good at a rate of Rs. 300.00 per plate.
This place was easy to find, a few hundred mts of the main highway. So it's easily accessible yet is away from the noise the highway. Simple folks, simple place, if your expectations are set right, you won't be disappointed. They try to make things ethnic. They serve their food in special plates, they have a new bamboo hut coming up. Its nice and homely.
The rooms were super clean and comfortable, the location was peaceful and the home cooked food was superb. Lalit, Ritupan and the team were incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and able to arrange our visit to Kaziranga and bike rental. They also dropped us at the bus station and helped us with an issue we had obtaining an Indian SIM card. I can't recommend this homestay highly enough!
This place is away from the mad rush of the central range, v close to the eastern range of kaziranga, agarotoli. The eastern range is great for birding and you can even see the great river Brahmaputra. Ethnic cocoon is a warm homestay run by a good team of local lads. Its simple and basic, yet tastefully done with attention to details. Its right next to a huge tea garden so it's great to wake up to. Nothing fancy, neat and clean place, with local additions of bamboo things here and there. A little shelf with some books, a guitar, some paints, a kitchen team that likes to keep humming, the dog and rooster in the yard all keep you very well entertained. The food is also good, definitely worth a mention. Local ingredients and they even made a fish dish with elephant apple. Delicious it was. They have an in-house safari vehicle so you don't have to go looking or booking for one. Book with ritu and he's quite knowledgeable. Knows his birds and animals. Is local. Its good value for money. The staff put in a lot of effort to make you feel at home. We had a good time. Stayed for two days. Highly recommended.…
