This is a lovely restored property right in the heart of this sleepy village. The hotel surrounds a swimming pool. The room was quite large with good facilities. The restaurant is good and they serve beer. Great location if travelling between Dharamshala and Shimla.

We stayed here as a stopover between Shimla and Dharmsala. A wonderful experience, a quirky building but full of character, room very comfortable but basic. It is located in a heritage village, we just wish there had been more information on the history of the village available in the hotel. The inclusive all la carte meal in the evening was delicious, we were pleased to eat with other guests otherwise it would have not had the same atmosphere. Sadly it was too cold to use the pool. Breakfast was served outside in the sunshine watching the chefs making the daily chapatis. Perfect! Very helpful staff.

Unusually quaint hotel, very quiet ambience. Our double room was unusually shaped with views out of the turrets. There was no hair dryer and no television. Staff were pleasant, quick to provide us with extra pillows. We ate a la Carte and there was a wide range of food to choose. We were the only people in the restaurant which meant there was little atmosphere. If you are after some peace and relaxation you certainly get that here and it breaks up the road journey between Shimla and Dharamsala.

Arrived at this hotel after a long drive having left an opulent 5 star hotel. Initial arrival was a bit of a culture shock. Rustic slightly eccentric rural charm being the order of the day. The room was clean with efficient air conditioning /heating the bed was very comfortable. The hotel does not have a licence but were quite happy to assist me in finding beer locally to consume at the hotel. Service was good and. We chose local food from the menu for dinner which was really very good. I had an omelette for breakfast which was also very good. Overall a good experience.
