Costal Galaxy located beach front. All wooden houses are facing to sea. Highly well maintained and clean.
Good place for family, Kids will enjoy this place as you can leave them to play on there own.
Houses are made up of Wooden and so called wooden cottage.
Nice place and good location. Service and hostility is very good, extremely clean and neat cottage(Wooden House). I stayed here from 7th March to 12th March 2020.
Tsunami Island is walkable from cottage. Approximate 500meters.
For newly married couple this place is awesome.
Personally I would recommend as first choice to stay at Costal Galaxy wooden House.
Contact Reception for all kind of water sport activity, they will arrange for you at reasonable price. And regarding food please don’t go anywhere, do have all your meal at hotel. They make awesome Malvan dishes and rate are same across Malvan, Tarkarli and DevBag.

It’s a small resort with 7 wooden cabins along the beach. You get a great view from the bed and can hang out in the sand at the tables on the beach. Kids had a great time playing in the sand while we eat 😄 the food was good but it takes a long time to get it so have to pre order it. Ghavan, wanga-batata kaap, modak and aloo paratha were awesome and so were surmai dishes and prawns. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The negative part here was the cleanliness of the surroundings and access to the beach. The sand where the tables are is not cleaned and has used tissues and bottle caps etc in it. There are rocks along this sand patch and then there is sea. There is garbage along this rock patch. You have to climb the rock patch down to get to the sea which is tricky sometimes and there is a lot of garbage in the sea like plastic bags and onions and so on.
It seems to be on the expensive side unless they clean the sand and rock patch in front of the rooms.

I had an unforgettable stay at Coastal Galaxy View Cottage in Devbag. The panoramic views of the galaxy from the cottage were absolutely breathtaking. The serene surroundings and cozy accommodations made it a perfect getaway. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. Whether it was stargazing on the veranda or taking a leisurely walk on the beach, every moment was magical. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a peaceful escape with a touch of celestial beauty. An enchanting experience that I'll cherish forever!

Having seen mainly good reviews about this place we decided to take a quick mid week break there. First of all it was not easy to find as there were no direction signs along the narrow road which meant stopping and asking directions from the locals. Mobile network was also very poor so Google Maps was not working. Anyway, finally arrived at the place and parked the car a short distance away from the hotel. There is sufficient parking for 4 to 5 cars max under some coconut trees so beware of falling coconuts. The parking is on the main road and there is no security whatsoever.
The room was ready when we arrived and it was quite acceptable. OK size. Just enough for two people and maybe a child. The view from the room is quite nice but avoid Room No. 01 as the view maybe a bit less due to the resort office being located in front of it. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. However, several times at night and a couple of times during the day the power went off and one had to call "Reception" to tell them to start the generator. The management could easily fit an auto "Start-Stop" system and avoid inconvenience to guests.
The toilet was clean but the cleanliness could be improved. Hot water was available at the touch of a switch. As the shower is located between the wash basin and the toilet, the whole washroom gets wet if one has a shower. Poor design by the builder.
The TV has only the free channels. When we asked about the "Paid" channels we were told it would be recharged in a few minutes but it never happened for the 2 days we were there.
The free "Wi-Fi" is pathetic. Hardly ever works. When it does, it is very slow. Networks like "Idea" and "Reliance Jio" do not work here at all. Vodafone does but weak signal.
There is no restaurant, per se. The resort has a kitchen attached and a couple of tables set up in front of the rooms. The food was quite tasty but the staff take a long time to serve and if you don't speak the local language you are likely to get something different to what you ordered! Only one of the desserts on the menu was available. The staff do run around trying their best to serve you as soon as possible but I suppose the kitchen is restricted.
The beach was a huge disappointment. The "clean and beautiful" sea shore as described by other users was anything but! Garbage and empty water/beer/alcohol bottles were strewn everywhere. Lots of mangy, stray dogs lying around.
The staff, when asked, offer to show you to the water sports provider nearby but we never partook of the same so can't comment on this.
All in all, an OK experience though I felt it was over priced.
