We regularly visit this public house when holidaying in North Devon. Can't recommend it enough. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere great and full of rustic charm, with food that's gorgeous and great value! 10/10 all round!

Such a fantastic weekend away. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, the village was lovely and peaceful, the service was outstanding, personal and incredibly genuine. We felt very welcome. On these factors alone you should visit... however the food... wow. Firstly the hospitality tray in the room. Cafetiere for coffee, selection of tea, home made flapjacks and shortbread. Now,...

Return visit as so impressed last time and not disappointed again. Excellent service and food in a lovely village pub. Will certainly be visiting again. Staff and service are to be recommended and many other establishments could learn from a visit

Went for dinner, my second visit (first was a few years ago) and this place did NOT disappoint. Great food, great beer, and excellent, friendly service. There were four of us and each of us were delighted with both the starters and the mains. A real gem of an establishment, if you're in the area and feeling peckish don't miss...

Nikki, Paul & the team at the Fox & Goose welcomed me as an old friend! Frazzled after a long journey, a delightful & reasonably priced Sauvignon blanc was welcome in the traditional & friendly bar. The home made food & service here never disappoints. The fish bouillabaisse is highly recommended! I retired to a spacious, bright spotlessly clean bedroom...

We stayed here for a weekend when visiting family. A last minute choice which we certainly did not regret. The rooms are up to date, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious - a large bathroom and a separate dressing/sitting area in our room. Some special touches too - the flask of fresh cold milk on arrival so no pots of...
