We spent a glorious 3 days in the Drover's Hut from 26th-29th December. We had been here before - in the Shepherd's Hut in July and knew it would be a perfect break for the festive period. There's nothing to complain about full stop! Lovely couple, the most beautiful of locations, piping hot showers, and both huts completely gorgeous. From...

Just had a two week camping holiday at Westland farm, the facilities are excellent with showers that had constant hot water, there's a laundry room with washing machine and a tumble dryer and a large fridge freezer, plenty of space for our children and dog to run around in, collecting fresh eggs every morning for breakfast is a must. The...

We stayed for one night in the Shepard's hut. We had an absolutely amazing time...the views were beautiful with the hut being next to a stream. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening toasting the complimentary marshmallows!

I've just got back from spending a week at this cracking campsite and will definitely be back again in the future! I had a really enjoyable stay here and it was great to be at a more "traditional" campsite with "proper" campers, having just spent the previous week in a more holiday-camp style place in Dartmoor. The campsite itself is...

A mid week break for the two of us, we had surfing lessons booked at Croyde which was within 30 minutes drive. The location of Westland Farm put us within easy distance of Ilfracombe, Barnstaple, Combe Martin, Croyde and the Exmoor National Park. We enjoyed the chickens, pigs, sheep and horses that were kept on the farm and always ready...

I booked this last minute hoping for a stress free weekend. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, we had to track them down to pay them. Our dogs kept escaping and annoying people with friendship but nobody seemed to mind. Lots of facilities, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Showers hot and clean. Lots of farm animals around, my sheepdog...

Family night in a yurt in a beautiful part of Devon. Friendly owners, private place. Hard to explain but we loved it. Give it a go and bring wells or prepare to walk bare footed. :). It is set up beside a little stream with a cute bridge at the entrance. Weather was crap but still we managed to really...

I cannot rave about this place enough. I don't think I will ever have another party again because it will never beat how incredible this one was! And it could not have happened were it not for the kindness, reliability, and hospitability of Andy, Nicky and their boys. I had been in contact with Nicky since January trying to plan...

Stayed there in October in my VW California - only me and another party present on the entire site - great facilities, lovely owners (Thanks Nicky). Kids loved the pigs and chickens and the open fire was great. Loos were in a centrally heated area and first class. I found this via Cool Camping and they were right, it is...

We stayed here earlier this week. What a brilliant experience. Nicky was so helpful going that extra mile all the way - driving us and luggage down to the Yurt as the fields was so wet. The Yurt and kitchen were very clean and the shower block was spotless which was amazing considering all the rain. One night it was...

“The camping field faces south and the gradient alters around it so find a spot that suits you before pitching. Higher up the field gives a better view of the reservoir and fields around whilst lower down means you can see the stream and you're further away from the road but also the facilities (which could be a negative if you have young children).”
